It is firm and helps with sitting up. Back is a little low. The arm pillows slide and fall off because they are not attached, however it is a nice feature being able to remove to allow extra length for sleeping. Overall great product for cost and perfect for small spaces.
Was skeptical to order this futon after reading some of the negative reviews of being so small. I am absolutely in love with it and glad I made the choice to purchase anyway. Its really sturdy and comfortable. I make it a point to sit on it each evening before going to bed. its a great place to sit in my room while reading, studying it watching TV. Most importantly, ITS CUTE and CLASSY!!
My daughter is pregnant and she was the first to sleep on my new futon. Of course since she is pregnant she has to roll side to side and cant sleep on her stomach so she was fearing that she may roll off because the futon does not have a flat surface when it is let out to a bed. But we decided that I should get a memory foam mattress to go over the futon so if someone is sleeping on it they will not feel like they are going to slide off. I laid on it myself and I think a memory foam would be a great addition for more comfort while sleeping. But just sitting on it is fine Other than that, I think its nice.
This couch was incredibly easy to assemble. Its very firm, which we expected, and is perfect for the gaming room which is mostly used by our teen and his friends. The cup holder is turning out to be an extremely useful feature.
Love our folding futon! The material is very soft and the cup holder is a sweet addition! Although it easily seats two, it will only comfortably sleep 1 person.

Its not too bad, pretty much as expected

This futon is very small, I should have paid more attention to the measurements. If it was bigger it would be very nice
