The first pkg arrived with some damage. They immediately sent replacements. Easy to assemble, good price, and perfect for our kitchen island seating area!
Unfortunately I did not have a hexagon drill bit ?? Used a wrench to turn the little tool they supplied. Hard on the hands. But I did have a rubber mallet that was useful when putting in the wood dollies and wood button pegs. Didnt take long to put together. If the seat had rounded curves, would be more comfortable on the thighs when sitting.
As long as tools are handy, self assembly is possible. There are times where extra strength is required to assemble parts of the legs, but overall not bad. May want to purchase cushion for long term seating.
