I needed an inexpensive daybed/trundle for a boys room. I got this trundle and the matching daybed in silver. (This is just the trundle, the daybed is sold separately!) This was a great neutral / masculine option. Mine came with all the pieces and hardware. It was easy to put together (I had someone helping me, though). Two of the wheels lock to keep it place while youre sleeping on it, which is really nice. It fits a twin mattress, and slides under the daybed with the bedding still on the mattress (My mattress is just a regular mattress, not deep or pillow top.)
Its pretty good. A useful little bed for one of my guest rooms. I wish it had smaller diameter wheels. I put a comfy 8 mattress on it and I cant easily roll it out from under my daybed. I have to lift daybed. I may see if I can find smaller wheels for it. Its sturdy. I had a couple staying in that room for the night and they opted to sleep together on this bed. They said it felt sturdy and I saw no apparent damage.
It took about 15 minutes to put together.super easy, very sturdy. Twin bed mattress fit fine on iteven with the bed made (except for the pillow). Has the rails front and back so the mattress does not slide. mattress sticks up above these. Put this in my guest/sewing room. The locking wheels are great on carpet but pretty useless on a hardwood floor. Everything slides on this floor. I like the metal cross bars much better than the old saggy straps or tension springs.
Beautiful, easy to put together, just know it is a metal bed and will squeak. Bought this for my 8 yr old and she complains that when she rolls at night the squeaking wakes her up.
The side wheels are suppose to lock in and keep the bed in place. THEY DONT LOCK ON MINE, the bed rolls all over :O. I have sent a question about this and hope I get a helpful answer, if the problem is corrected I will up my review.
Im giving it a 5 because it was really easy to put together. But i was very disappointed. In myself bcuz i thought it came with the whole bed plus trundle. Should have read fully before ordering.
I got the full set - separate trundle, daybed, and the mattress that was suggested. We did one bed frozen and the other ninja turtles for a 2 and 4 year old. They love their beds so much, and the trundle rolls out well. Perfect for a small bedroom.
Nice bed great price. It says prime but its not that fast. I had a rough start to this bed- UPS somehow managed to damage it in shipping. Not sure how until I saw the packaging. Horrible packaging for shipping. Its in a box youd get from an item at Walmart. After the fiasco with the first one not even making it to my door sent me another (with very expedited shipping) and I just finished putting it together. I like the look (I havent put my mattress on it yet) (will update if things change). It was a pain to put together. But for the price, get ready to get your hands dirty and swear a few times. But Im happy so far. Im glad was able to resolve the issue quickly. Kudos to them because UPS certainly was no help!

I didnt realize when I bought this that the trundle has bars on both sides, rather than one. Also it creeks alot. Over all it meets my needs.
