Maybe not the sturdiest, but added an extra board or 2 between the middle cross members and it is now solid. Still able to have it crooked. So it could still use some diagonal support to prevent that, but if not moved too much, mine will last forever.
Takes a little time, but the assembly went smoothly with a minimal amount of swearing. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall quality. Highly recommend.
I read a bunch of reviews before I bought this and I was nervous about buying it and putting together. I put it together on my own without any difficulty. Decided to add extra screws on the top but didnt buy any of the hardware that I saw a recommended. it works great. Im disappointed because it said it was solid wood its not its mostly particle board. Otherwise love it
