This bed was such a pleasant surprise! For the price, it looks higher end. My tween loooves the look. She and I put it together ourselves. Yes, it was a ton of bolts to hand screw and tighten with the Allen wrench but the directions were so clear and organized that it made it so easy. There was only one time that because of how things were fitting together the bolts were too short. Lucky for us, extras are shipped and we just grabbed longer bolts from those. All of the holes matched up and the wood supports are great quality. We did not end up using the box spring that we had, just the mattress. Im so impressed with this bed and would recommend it to anyone.
I am 5 foot 2 and I assembled this bed by myself. Its a bit time consuming (2.5 hour) but as long as you can follow simple instructions very easy. I loveeee it!!!!!! Good quality and beautiful!
The instructions were by far the best Ive come across. I assembled this bed myself in 3 hours. Girl Power! Which seems on track with the reviews I read where it took 2 people 1.5 hours.
This would have taken a lot less time if I had an allen wrench drill bit (you better believe I do now!) there were so many screws that used an allen wrench and doing it by hand took at least an hour. The manual says not to use power tools but I think its fine if you are slow gentle with the drill.
When I connected the side rails to the headboard, I used a can of food to rest the headboard on so it was at the right height to slide the side rails into. You have to be resourceful when youre building this solo.
This bed is a great value and its so cute.
I was super excited about this product, however as soon as I opened the box and started fixing it I saw how flimsy this product is. Even though the color of the leather is really pure white and pretty, the overall construction and sturdiness is very very poor. The slats had a lot of splinters which you can see in one of the picture and it was not easy to assemble the slats. The legs provided were very flimsy plastic likeeee the two center legs were hardly legs they were pretty much a quarter inch diameter rods. Im not going to be returning this bed because its too much work to disassemble and carry it over to the UPS and its cheaper for me to just keep this $200 worth bad. I just hope that it at least will last me for two months until the holidays

I absolutely loveeee it!!!!!. Its super cute. It was easy to put together and its sturdy despite my initial thoughts. I would definitely repurchase.
