I use two twin XL mattresses as my kind and wanted a platform frame that looked nice so they wouldnt be on separate box springs and this works great and looks nice. All parts were in the box and it was easy to assemble.
Took me an hour or so to assemble. Im quite the handy woman and this bed by far ease the simplest Ive ever put together. The slats have velcro that didnt require drilling into the bed which probably shaved off 30 minutes assemble time. Very sturdy and quiet. loveee it!! thus far.

it is not a cal king
i thought it was for a cal king but I guess it was king....we had to cut the pieces and it came out good....not cal king

Easy to assemble except in middle part you need 2 people to assemble it and it is comfortable , strong BUT it isnt fit my king mattress
