We bought this for our 7yr old daughter and she apsolutly LOVES it. It was super easy for my husband to put together and when our older daughter comes home for a visit she takes over the bed. I recommend this all the x
There was one instruction that was out of order. It instructed you to place locking nuts into cross supports before the side support. Unless you have at least 2people to hold them from falling over and having the locking nuts fall out you cant do it. You must attach cross supports to side supports and then it will stand up allowing you to insert locking nuts in and easily finish putting it together. Also, you should attach drawer slides to cross supports first. Then when you attach the sides you are nearly finished.
It was purchsed for a college apt. Arrived a few days later than anticipated. Arrived in 2 heavy boxes and took 3 hrs to assemble, engineering seniors. But it is solid and storage is fantastic. A partial disassemble will be required to extricate it from the3rd story apt with narrow hallway and a couple of turns. Will service grad school well next year.
Bought two of these beds for my son and stepsons bedroom, they really like that they each have their own separate storage space, and I like that they can have dresser drawers without crowding their 12x10 bedroom!
One little snag, ripping the tape off the wood panels pulled paint off so be gentle (I included a photo).

Fix minor issues
Liked the bed but the parts are warped or not aligned properly so that has to be fixed
