For the price of this queen frame I wasnt expecting much honestly when I ordered it. Sure, in the pictures it looked nice but so has a lot of other things that later turn out to be a disaster with either putting it together or keeping it together. This has been a wonderful exception!
Everything you need came packaged inside the headboard. On the back there are two zippers that unzip the entire back of the headboard and inside is all of the pieces needed. I really liked this feature as I moved recently and was able to break the bed down and transport it all in one single protected piece.
The design is very nice, modern and sleek and durability and quality both seem to be excellent. I have used this bed for nearly a year and its held up great. One of my main concerns were how sturdy the boards underneath the mattress would be and so far Ive not hand a single one break. When looking under the bed when my 2 year old and spouses 2 year old are jumping on it the boards have a little give and relieve pressure which is a nice added bonus. There are two groups of boards, all strapped together with velcro to adhesive to the bed frame itself which also has velcro. I have not noticed this getting worn out or losing its strength and the boards seem to always stay in place.
The frame itself was extremely easy to put together and there werent many pieces that had to be put together. Theres two panels on either of the long side of the bed, then the small foot board and head board, along with the framing that runs underneath (which is one part) that goes from either side and front to back.
There was one small issue with this, one of the leg holes for the headboard seemed to be stripped out a bit so it wouldnt tighten very well and wobbles a bit, however, UPS lost my first bed in transit and so it was awhile before my originally order and when I finally received a replacement so I can live with this, plus with kids jumping on it, two adults falling on it after a long day of work and plenty of rough activities on and around this bed its held up extremely well.
This was a bargain on this and I love it! I also like the addition that theres no need for a box spring anymore. Box springs seem old and archaic and I am glad I upgraded to something more modern. Also, I have seen a few complaints about gaps with other type of bed frames like this..I experienced zero issues of this and my mattress fit perfectly inside and it does not budge, wiggle or move at all. There also a decent amount of space beneath this bed, a small dog and a 2 year old child can both climb under this with no issues, makes for additional storage is need be.

The bed arrived a day earlier than expected and in good condition despite the haulers difficulty unloading it...he had failed to call ahead, so only our young grandson was here to try and help him at the time. Like other reviewers i add the caution that the box is VERY heavy and longer than one, or even two average people can handle comfortably. Recommend you arrange a dry place to have the shipper drop it, then open and unload pieces at a time rather than try to manhandle the whole thing at once. It was well-packed and directions were clear enough to follow. Foster son for whom it was a gift loves it...has rearranged the stuff in his two drawers over and over! Not only that, but it stands up to his exhubeerant abuse. We are now considering ordering two more for an attic reclamation/guest room project.
Bed Frame came as described. One large box which held the headboard. Everything was inside the headboard. Bed frame went together in 20 minutes or so. Very easy to put together, and take apart so moving this frame will be a ease if need be. Holds up and doesnt budge at all when you are on your mattress which is rather nice.
This is a beautiful bed for the price. My only complaint is the fact that my daughters clothes are stored in it, and so far they all smell very strongly of sawdust/wood, more than the usual smell from new furniture.
Ive had this bed about two months, and so far so good! It was pretty tedious putting it together, but I was doing it by myself and I hate the directions that are only pictures without words. But once I stared at the instructions for a bit and figured them out, assembly went okay.
I am using the boxspring from my old setup as I like my bed to be a little high. So far, I couldnt be happier. The frame supports the weight very well, as well as my own- and I am far from a small woman. It has even held up during...extracurricular activities surprisingly well.
Not sure about the bad reviews because I havent had any problems with it at all. In my experience with these types of of things though, if you rush through assembly some of these parts are easy to mistake for one another and that may play a part in your experience with the bed. As for me, nearly two months in, I love it.
