Love having the space underneath.
I didnt use the bottom parts for the storage as it takes another 2-3 inches of height from the space shock I wanted to use.
Like everyone else, Id like the headboard a little bigger, but I really like this bed, and its functionality.
The bed frame itself is very cute and I absolutely love it in my apartment. I love the extra storage and I just love how it includes a headboard! Very cute! However, the assembly was a little bit of a struggle but that could have just been me and my boyfriend lol. My boyfriend did the frame part and it took him about an hour to complete! It probably wouldve taken him lesser time if he didnt put the metal bars upside down at first lol. But those DRAWERS, I struggled with the most. The clip thingy you use to connect the metal pieces frustrated me very much. Like I said it couldve just been me and my struggles, but it literally took me the same time my boyfriend took to put up the frame for ONE drawer. Like I couldnt figure out the clippy things for the life of me. When I finally completed ONE drawer, it was pretty simple to complete the rest…with the help of my boyfriend. We honestly still had a hard time putting them together…but we managed. When we got all 4 drawers together and put them under the frame, they looked very uneven at first, but we switched drawers in put them on different sides of the bed, and it looked fine. Dont know what that was about as they are all the same. Anywho, besides the absolute wildness of me putting the drawers together, I say the assembly wasnt too bad at all and the bed frame is very nice! Id recommend! I gave this 4 stars because its really those drawers man! Also, the steps should be more clear when it comes to the drawers and how the bars on the frame should be faced…whether its up or down, etc.
?The bed looks great and was easy to assemble though 2 people is better. The problem was the drawers. The instructions are not clear and it takes a little longer to assemble than necessary. You also get far less storage than you think. You might be better off with a taller frame and buying some bins.
I got this last year, but due to the pandemic - delays in shipping, I was supposed to move and it got cancelled then I bought a house after move fell through. Winter had flooding in yard. Anyway it's been a long year.
I assembled it myself in about 4ish hours with 3 breaks. One for my back, another from frustration and the last to let my dog out.
Overall it's a pretty piece of furniture. The slats I am weary of. They are slim and hook in with plastic pieces. I'm a larger lady and come with a hybrid foam/spring mattress. While I type this I'm am on it. But essentially we will see how long everything holds up. I will update in a year or if it breaks... Whichever comes first. (July 8, 2022 is assembly day)
I wish the instructions were clearer. Pieces that looked the same are not labeled and the assembly depends on which you use in each step. Labels and clearer steps would have been nice. To make the hydraulic system work you need to place a mattress on top, for those asking how it works.
I delivered for a furniture company for 10 years, so Ive built thousands of beds lol. This is well designed and easy to assemble, it looks awesome and is solid. Gotta be the best one of this storage type I ever came across. Only wish the shipping wasnt so much, but I get it.
Wasnt happy with this purchase. It came ripped and torn on the headboard. I couldnt see this until I had already taken it out of the box. Due to the weight and how hard it would have been to re box and ship back, I unfortunately had to keep it. buyer beware!! Do not recommend!
