This was not difficult to put together. Yes, it does take a bit of time and we found the assembly pointers in other reviews to be helpful.
It is easy to lift and close, too. It is sturdy and well-made and we are very pleased with it.
Edited post: So originally we thought this was a nice bed. It had arrived on time and was easy to put together with 2 people. We have since run into some major issues. The slats underneath keep breaking even though we have been careful not to over stress them. Also, the main support bar keeps bending and has a large crack in it now. Its ruined our $900 mattress because it's not supporting it the way it is supposed to. And I will add, my husband and I are not large people by any means, so there is no reason for it to be buckling as bad as it is. Overall appearance is nice though and we do appreciate the extra storage. It would probably be fine for a guest room if it's not used often.
Looks really great. Amazing for the price. Holds my 6' tall son, surprisingly well. One of the screws that was supposed to be internally mounted in the wood of the head board was missing. I had to improvise with glue, to avoid disassembling, repackaging, and sending the whole bed back when I was on one of the last steps of putting it together. Hopefully, it will hold!
I love this bed. I waited a very long time for the grey one to be in stock and I'm so glad I did. It looks great and the storage is awesome. Also very good quality especially for the price.
I'd like to give this a 4.5....its soo cool how this bed frame comes and how they set it up very easy build, some instructions are a little convoluted, but the only pain was the stupid little allen key....and the multiple little times it didn't quite fit... Honestly a flex bit on a drill you could build this in 10 minutes, vs the 45 it took me
Bed frame is of good quality, although it is definitely a 2-person (at least!) assembling job. The inner board on the bottom could've been thicker and wished they had this in beige.
