Incredibly sturdy. I read many reviewers prior to purchasing. I was particularly interested in noise and how much motion transfer it allows. My wife and I have slept on it for one week so far. It has exceeded or expectations by far. For all you couples who share your home with kids or family, this frame doesnt make a peep! Very silent.
I was skeptical when I received the box. I feared it was too small for a queen frame. I highly recommended hand tightening everything. If you have your own set of hex keys (Allen wrenches) I recommend you use them. The hex key the unit comes with is very soft metal. It wont last and youll risk stripping the hex slots on the screw heads. Use your own crescent wrench, too. The manufacturer means well but the little tools included belong in the trash.
I am 62 at near 275 lbs. My wife is a petite 95 lbs. When I get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, there is absolutely no motion transfer with a good quality firm memory foam mattress and NO BOX SPRING. I highly recommend not using one. Also, look for a bed skirt that will fit the size you purchase (14 or 16). Once assembled and installed, the frame looks very industrial. has some affordable skirts in several colors. To all you big guys, I hope you enjoy this bed if you make this choice.
Tip: Do not use power tools to assemble. The metal is strong but susceptible to damage if you use too much torque.
This is a sturdy frame that was simple to put together. There are holes in the legs to attach head or foot board which I am not cry about but you dont really see them
Easy to assemble. Compact packaging and clear instructions. Ive had this for a little over a month and I love it! Its totally silent! Great buy and I would recommend it to everyone.
Overall, this thing was a simple setup, is quite sturdy, and overall a fantastic frame. My only gripe is something youd likely find on any other hard frame; the legs are solid metal, and bumping them in the middle of the night on the way back to your bed can be a nasty wake/up call. I still recommend getting this frame, just make sure you order some black padding for the legs as well.
Its been multiple months since purchasing and we would recommend this to family and friends. Its a solid and sturdy product. I personally really like how assembly is set up however I gave it 4 stars on that due to it probably not being one person friendly set up wise.
Two people sleeping on it weights are 200 and 240 no issues.
This bed frame is easy to assemble, sturdy, and attractive in its simplicity. It is tall enough for my 12 thick memory foam mattress to forego the box springs. This is an economical buy for someone who wants simplicity in their bedroom.
