I was a bit nervous about shipping after seeing a lot of damage reviews; however, mine did not come damaged and seemed very protected the way it was packaged. The piece is definitely darker wood than it appears in pictures. Not sure why its called medium brown. It seems like more red cherry wood in my opinion. Overall, beautiful piece!
i was pleased after reading the previous reviews....it came in record time,,,very well wrapped...easy to put together..and a minimum of nicks...., but compared to price at Stores, they were a bargin.....love it!

I bought two of these console tables for my living room. They look great with my farmhouse decor and were super simple to assemble.
