Not to blame but I was led to believe that the platform panels from our Sleep Number frame would slide inside the frame.They dont.
Other than that I am pleased with the quality of materials and the method of assembly. No reason to think it wont last a long time.
Wonderful solid wood bed frame. Arrived in a double box securely packed. Legs were boxed and secured. Hardware was organized by letters so assembly was extremely easy ( you only had to match the letters). The many slats covered the entire area. The Velcro was extra duty and quite extensive. The nuts and bolts were package separately and labeled. They even included a ratchet. Everything was super. I had purchased another frame from a different co and it was cheap, arrived in a pieced together box, missing parts and slats did not cover the entire bed frame and arrived late. Had to refuse the second one as it arrived many days after the first. Had to be thrown away.
The bed frame was far superior and the same price as the plastic one I received from the other co. Will be purchasing another bed frame for my second bed.
Ive had this bed for a month now, and it is just what I was looking for. A simple, rustic, wood tone, that is sturdy and a nice contrast to my white down bedding. My boyfriend put it together in half an hour with his Milwaukee impact, I assume it would take twice that time with the tools provided, but everything necessary for assembly was included if you dont have any electric tools. I havent had any problems with it, it doesnt wobble, no cracks in the wood, and the wood is definitely thick and sturdy enough to last the way your bed should. Highly recommend!
We live in an upstairs apartment and our downstairs neighbor works nights. I was worried that at such a low cost it wouldnt be the sturdiest and would be creaky when getting in and out of bed. No wobble and its silent! Very pleased.
Weve only been using this a few days, but love it. The box it arrived in wasnt incredibly heavy (I was able to carry it up a flight of stairs with little problem.) The directions were a little confusing at first and I had to re/do some of my work in setting it up. However, it took about an hour of me putting it together (and re/doing several steps because I had overlooked something) and that was without any extra help.
I bought a twin mattress in my town that has coils and some foam, and was told that even though this frame had the slats, I would need a bunkie board to extend the life of the mattress. Something to consider, depending on the mattress you end up getting.
My daughter (age 5) loves this bed / we finally upgraded her toddler bed. This is just high enough for her to get on with ease. I also love that we now have a non/toddler bed and someone can sit on the bed with her to read at night.
the middle support of the bed has given out. I engage in adult activities as well i have a dog in which i play around with in my room. Ive had this bed a little less than a year and gotta get a new frame. It was good while it lasted I guess. Be weary if youre active.
