Clean look. Fast and easy to put up. Great space saver for storage under the bed.

Im very happy with it and the easy and fast to put up and sturdy. There is a great amount of space to fit storage under the bed. My sons mattress sinks in through the rails at the edge of the frame maybe because my mattress is on the slim side or my son pushes down I dont know but thats why I didnt give it 5 stars but Im still happy with it.

I Will Only Buy From This Day Forward

This is a greatthe greatest daybed experience I have ever had. Putting it together without assistance was simple and took less than an hour ( I forgot to time myself). I love the intelligent engineering of the backrest that tension sits on the base and then is secured with two screws. The two side rails, a couple more screws; then the exact right amount of base bars that snap lock into place make this a sturdy engineering miracle I will enjoy and relax with for years. I have known metal daybeds and other furniture to be flimsy and rickety within a few uses. I worried the 69 price I paid was a bad omen to my previous experiences. Not the case with my Zinus. As with any metal furniture make sure you dont tighten the screws all the way in one by one. Tighten each screw half way, double check everything is lined up correctly, then tighten all the way. I say that due to other reviewers/ purchasers who fully tightened each screw and caused damage to the integrity of their metal furniture. I am constantly criticizing bad engineering everywhere I see it. This has me pleasantly surprised and excited to know a manufacturer has really taken time to think about the consumer/ the product, the materials, the tools ( bonus rubber hammer, Allen wrench annnd a ratchet to boot!), the numbered stickers and simple enough instructions have won me over! I doubt a more expensive daybed could make me happier. side note, the cushions I used are foam pieces I had previous which l covered with dog bed cushion covers at 1/3 less cost than traditional daybed coverings ( I hope you dont mind me including that tidbit for the customers sake) so my entire daybed setup cost less than 100.00. Thank you for treating your customers intelligently. Am shopping all products and recommending them highly.

    Pleased better then I thought.

I love the look of this for my bedroom. My bedroom is on the small side and decided it was time to Get a bed that would fit the room better so I ordered this and got it within a few days of ordering it if I remember correctly it was like 3days from when I ordered to the day it showed up. It did take me a while to set it up though not as straightforward as the other reviews had me believe but thats ok other then some weird labeling issues it went Fairly well. I loved that it came with everything that is needed to put it together. and it looks wonderful tonight is the first night using it as I had to get a mattress for Irans finally did. Pleased with so much regarding this product. There is one thing however I would suggest changing if able to and thats the instructions on putting together I would make it so it was both written and picture maybe the pic of them words under it giving the instructions the pic is trying to show

Solidly built but unimpressive and closer to a bed than daybed

I needed something to fill up space in a spare bedroom and thought a daybed would be a good solution. I have a large TV and computer in the room so it made sense to place a daybed in the space. While looking at options, I definitely wanted something fairly inexpensive because its not going to see much use. This is one of the cheapest options, while still getting solid reviews so I figured why not. Before I give my specific thoughts, Im going give a very lukewarm recommendation to seek other options. To be sure, this is fairly well made and not overpriced, but its just not really a daybed. Here are my thoughts: Pros: 1. Its sturdy and made of decent material. 2. Its very easy to put together and has good directions. 3. You end up with a fairly useful rubber plastic mallet and ratcheting hex key out of the deal. Cons: 1. I knew going into this that the rise on the back is small. I read the dimensions. I saw the photos. All of that still did not prepare me for the reality of it in person. When you look at the photos of many users and the stock photos, youll notice theres only a visible rise to this if the mattress is incredibly thin. The mattress I placed on mine is 6 inches and then I threw a Japanese futon throw over it, so 8 inches total. As you can see in my photo, even with the pillows in the way, there is perhaps two inches of visible back and sides to the daybed. In other words, the entire purpose of a daybed is complete lost on this design. Youre not going to be able to throw pillows on the back of this for support and use it as a couch. And if you use a very thin mattress or futon, its not likely to be comfortable and is going to look awkward. In short, its just a very odd design. 2. The locking plastic pieces that slide over the individual rails, that are supposed to lock in place, serve no purpose. Youre provided a tool to lock them in place and I never used it. In fact, I quite literally slid them all in easily with my hands and most of them dont lock into place at all. Its a completely pointless design. However, the slats stay in place regardless so its not necessarily an issue. Overall, while this is well built and worth the price, I cant recommend it. Its far more of a bed than daybed and anyone really searching for a daybed is never truly going to be pleased with this. Yes, the measurements are given and there are photos, but trust me when I say that if you place any kind of regular mattress on this, its going to look and have the use of a bed, not a daybed. With that said, this company makes a few other well reviewed options that are 15/20 more, but have 3/4 inches more rise. Id suggest checking those out because again, this is well made! Its just absolutely not a daybed. Cheers!
