My package came in about a month. The directions were easy, however, the parts did not fit well together. I had to use a hammer to put some bars together since it was dented. I also had to pull hard to make things fit perfectly. In addition, the black covering scrapes off very easily. Being said. It is decent for its price, (the reason why I ordered it) but if you are looking for something long term, this might not be the frame for you.
The bed frame is sturdy, quiet, and looks nice overall. It came with a little paint chipped off, and a good sized dent in the top of the footboard. Its not difficult to put together but it did take my husband and I about an hour and a half to two hours from start to finish.
This frame is great! Fairly easy to put together, only thing they forgot to put a step in the directions, and this step is important! So be sure to be aware. Just takes some thinking. The Frame us very sturdy! The guard to the keep the mattress in place doesnt do its job. We had to buy sturdy two sided tape to keep the mattress In place. Scary to sit on bed and it slides off with u on it! Still love the look, just couple quirks
It did take a while for the shipper to send this frame (when I ordered estimated delivery was Oct 9; I received Oct 13); however, I am very pleased with the product. I assembled part of this with another person but I think I could have assembled the entire thing alone. It did not take a long time and the instructions were fairly easy to follow. Would definitely purchase again if time were not an issue (as far as waiting for it to actually arrive).
Bed was simple to assemble, but as you can see from the picture, the metal slats are 1/2 too long. My wife was very displeased to find this out on the last step before laying the mattress on top. We are hoping the manufacturer will supply the correct parts. Ok, so I did receive a quick response to our issue. We were told to loosen the screws, and snap the plastic clips on the metal slats in first, then re/tighten the screws putting the entire frame in a bind. We shall see how well it holds up.
The reviews on this bed were great. So I knew I would love it. My only complaint is shipping time is slow. This wasnt a gift so it didnt matter. It was so easy to assemble. Directions are printed on the box but there is also a paper copy in your parts box. Some have asked about a box spring so I wondered if I would be able to use mine. Unless you have a suprr thin mattress I dont see how you would be able to. I used only my mattress.
