Im actually really impressed with the quality of this bed for the price. Was easy to assemble myself and has plenty of support and middle of the bed support. I love that you dont have to have a box spring. My girls loved them. Would definitely purchase again.
Ive put together many metal beds, at least eight. None compare to this bed. There were many pieces; however, they all went together seamlessly with ease. I had a 12 year old helper, and we managed easily. Once together the sturdiness of this bed is far superior to any Ive had. So much so that I will be purchasing another to replace a bed which looks almost exactly the same, but far less sturdy. Definitely a win.
I bought this because my wife really likes the styling. I was very hesitant because metal beds like this have a reputation for creaking and groaning. I honestly wasnt looking forward to it. With that said, the end result is very good. They include a dampening strip that you install over the center beam to prevent the other bars from clanking together when you shift around in bed. It really makes very little noise and feels very sturdy. With all of that said, you need someone with some strength to properly assemble this. If you dont really tighten down all of the bolts, then this thing will make noise and will be annoying. I honestly dont think that my wife could have put it together with good results. She could have done it to the point that it was put together, but it wouldnt have been tightened down enough to be silent and sturdy. And thats not meant to be a reflection on women in general or anything like that. Different people have different amounts of strength. This product requires someone that is above average in terms of strength to get good results. If you are stronger, then youll be able to get this working well. If youre not, then avoid this bed. One other note is that they do package this setup well. However they almost package it too well. Every single piece is wrapped with both foam and tape. It was seriously annoying to take out of the box and I had to use scissors on each individual piece. This is probably a good thing in the long/run, but was very annoying during actual assembly and added a lot of time to the process.
I bought this for a small guest room and although it took longer than expected to assemble, it looks nice, is as study as one can expect and does the job.
