This is a great bed, but watch out for these while assembling .

This bed is really great and was mostly what I was looking for. I will say the wood looks only slightly lighter than the picture, but it looks great. My mattress fits perfectly on this too. As far as the float effect, this bed frame is still really low to the ground and the floating space is about 2-3 inches. I wasnt looking for anything super significant when it came to that so this is fine for me. There was no odor as far as one review stated, it just smelled like fresh wood. It adds just enough height and give to my bed, its very comfortable. As for assembly, the instructions are actually really easy. If you mess up just use a set of pliers to take dowels and other stuff out if you mess up. I assembled this by myself in about 1 1/2 hours. The worse part would probably be the 4 brackets, I swear I went through hell and back tryna screw those in. Just pay attention to all the holes. Dont over complicate it, the assembly is really easy otherwise.

Decent Bed Frame, But Not Sunken

Pretty good quality, sturdy, doesnt squeak unless the bolts need tightened. Queen mattress matches the size of the queen frame however the stickies dont work, and the bed slides around a little bit. Corners are sharp and hurt to accidentally kick. If it was sunken, it would help a lot more.

    Sturdy, gorgeous, easy to assemble

I was so excited to check out the bed so I pit it together before my king matress arrived. Its so pretty and well constructed. The last bed I had off didnt hold up a year. I was a bit hesitant but upon seeing the quality and build, my anxieties were put to rest.. The bed has the perfect amount of clearance underneath for cleaning and discrete storage if you like to use totes. It is so easy to assemble and comes with minimum parts, unlike some cheaper beds out there. (My last bed probably had 20 parts, not including screws. Less parts = less things coming loose. I also was amazed by the amount t of supporting beams in the center of the bed. The wood is high quality and I love the natural warm tones of the polished rubber wood. It even has no skid matress tape on the slats to keep your matress from sliding Cons: As some mentioned, there is a bit of floor gap with the supporting posts , so I would use a rug underneath or buy something to stick underneath the bed that keeps ot from sliding. This is a minor flaw, and I wont take away a star from my review because the overall quality is exceptional for the price. Also, the slats of thr bed that hold thr matress ARE on the cheaper end as mentioned, as I noticed thry created a layer of wood dust as I assembled them. This should reduce over time. I can always pick up cheap slays at my local thriftshop, but I dont see it bothering me. If anyone cares to know, its made in Malaysia. I am a bit cautious about minimal amounts of formaldehyde gassing off (it does meet safety standards for the environment, but its not certified formaldehyde free by greengaurd, etc, so I would expect it not to be a clean , nontoxic item. This is also not a huge concern, as I feel like the gassing is minimum since there is no plush fabric headboard etc... Overall, you are getting an incredible product for an amazing deal, so I wouldnt sweat the small stuff.

Frame Arrived Defective - Seller Did Not Pay Return Shipping

I NEVER write product reviews but felt it important to write this one. While responsive to my email, did NOT cover the return shipping costs on their defective bed frame. I purchased this for my daughter and we werent even able to begin assembling the frame because the pieces in Step 1 were defective. I ended up purchasing a different bed.

    Its all wood. No

This was easy to put together. They even supplied a few pieces of extra hardware. I have slept super great on this frame. Follow the directions, lay everything out before you start on assembly. The pieces are smooth and fit precisely. Very pleased with this purchase. No bendable parts.

This Bed is a Masterpiece of Engineering Art

I am very happy with my purchase. Very well made guest bed. Very easy to assemble. Being a woman in her 55+ it took for me about an 1 hour . Love it! Our two guests already complimented this bed. Thank you!

Nice Sturdy Bed - Same as photo

Away from the color being a bit more faded light wood, the bed looks same as the photo. It took me about 55 mins to complete the assembly and I am small and doughy. So, doesnt need a full pack of muscle to maneuver assembling this item. However, the box it comes it is a bit heavy and would not be movable unless you are using a good hand truck. You would need two people to lift the box for a stair. If you are looking for a low profile feel, this might not work. It does look that way due to how it is on the photo but the height is a pretty much a regular bed height. To achieve the similar look, you would need to make your bedroom pretty empty.

    GREAT Bed Frame

After reading some of the reviews about little mismatches here and there, I decided to take a chance with my assembly skills. As it turned out, I found that a rubber mallet comes in REAL handy. And it went together quite nicely in about an hour. All I can say is to read the instructions thoroughly and take your time to ensure the frames are all snug and you shouldnt have any issues with mismatches. The bedframe will be used in our spare bedroom (my remote office) for when the kids decide to visit the rents. Plan to pair this frame with a queen 6 mattress. Should work nicely.
