We love this bed!
It took us two evenings to put together completely due to busy schedules but it was not difficult. My four year old daughter absolutely loves this bed. It is strong and sturdy and I am not uncomfortable getting up there with my daughter and laying with her, etc. She loves pulling the desk out and crawling and playing underneath. I took the suggestions of other reviewers and put bins in the desk for even more storage. I am very happy with this purchase!

4 boxes - instructions were great, all pieces were perfect and assembly probably took 4-6 hours. Bed is perfect for my kids - they are loving everything about it!!!
The bed looks exactly how it looks in the picture. The bed came in four boxes, one for the bed, one for the desk, one for the bookcase and one for the dresser. I liked that they were separate because it made assembly easier. The bed is also pretty sturdy, it’s not a cheap feeling bed. Assembly was pretty simple once you figure out what pieces are which. One thing that I did not like was the fact that the pieces were not labeled (I took a marker and marked the pieces myself on the bottom of the pieces, which helped greatly) not coming with the pieces labeled was disappointing. I also didn’t like the fact that you can almost see every connection point which is held together by a screw, so there is a lot of the backs of silver screws showing. THose are my only two complaints and had the pieces came labeled and if the bed came with some white circular stickers to cover all the screw insertions I would’ve given a perfect five. But it is perfect for my 7 year old and great value.

Easy assembly
There were a lot of pieces to put together but it wasn’t very hard and came together quite quick. I recommend only opening one box at a time.
It’s a great bed! My daughter loves it!
Once you add the mattress in, it’s super tough to make the bed up. There’s not a lot of room around the edges.
