Good Quality, But Short and Uncomfortable

I got this chair in the off/white beige color. I saw it first but ended up finding this listing on . The shipping was faster and it was a bit cheaper so I decided to purchase it from here instead. PROS/ That being said the chair got to my house in less than a week which is WAY quicker than the 3/5 weeks it says it will take. Its very stylish and aesthetically pleasing. Its also easy to put together, you just screw the legs into place. CONS/ This chair is really short. Its about the height of a high school desk chair. Because its short, it doesnt offer a lot of back support and your back WILL hurt after sitting in this chair for more than an hour. Its pretty small width wise. If youre a bigger person you might not fit comfortably in this chair. Its small and my sister who is 56 and 160 pounds fills the chair completely. All in all, the price was good so Im not mad about this purchase but I wouldnt recommend that anyone but this chair for more than aesthetic purposes.

    Wonderful

Really fantastic /Very sturdy base, Easy to assemble and look like high quality. Assembly takes a little time but instruction manual is understandable with diagrams and all hardware is provided. I added a few throw pillows on it and love it!

Uncomfortable but handsome mid century styled chairs

Handsome mid century styled chairs, but they are uncomfortable and lacking in some quality. What you get: Two mid century styled chairs. Legs have a wood look but are made with some sort of metal. Chair itself is a suede like material. What I liked: / aesthetically pleasing / decent price / quick and easy assembly. Took about 20 minutes for both chairs. What I didnt like: / uncomfortable to sit on. The seat itself is narrow for my large rear end as well as my husbands normal sized tushy. The chair itself is hard and just uncomfortable. / bottom grips on the legs werent fully aligned with the legs themselves. See photo / quality was mediocre at best While these chairs look nice, I cant imagine sitting and enjoying a meal on them. Would be good for staging a house or as a chair for light use. Personally would not order again or recommend.

    Worth it!

Very easy to assemble; none of the parts came damaged, ordered the orange shade and it came just like the photo displayed! The cushion itself is really really soft and the material is similar to a velvet plush. Very comfortable. Worth the purchase for sure.

    Small but Comfortable

These chairs are on the small side, but they are super comfortable and add a unique style to a well designed room.

    So beautiful

I was surprised that the legs werent real wood, but were metal HOWEVER they look just like wood and the chairs went together very easily. They look stunning and the velvet is good quality

Modern take on old shell style chairs

The old shell chairs with some cushion and a soft suede like cover. They came well packaged and the metal legs have a really good wooden simulated paint. One of the tabs that are a part of the screwing was a little bent, but I was able to hammer it flat. The screwing was easy, you just have to fit the legs to the holes. If you like this style, I think you will be happy with the chairs.

    Gorgeous Simple

I ordered these chairs in green and I love the rich forest jewel tone color. it looks very rich and beautiful in this fabric. Aesthetically, these chairs are extremely appealing. They are simple and streamlined, and will go well with mid/century modern decor. I was concerned that the legs of the chair, which are metal but painted to look like wood would come off looking fake or cheap. Instead, they look shockingly realistic, and you have the sturdiness and quality of metal legs with the look of wooden legs. These chairs are not for larger people. They dont have a deep or soft cushion, and they are also relatively small. I am 54, 115 lbs and this chair was fine for me, but I question if my friend who is 62 and 225 lbs would be comfortable in it for very long. the chair is sturdy and can support the weight, but the seat itself skews towards the smaller side. these would make excellent dining chairs for someone wanting a luxurious look.

Pretty deep emerald color, rough stitching

These chairs arrived with basic instructions in the form of like 4 picture diagrams. Now, to be fair, theyre in 2 pieces each, not counting the small hardware. Its not rocket science to assemble them but the legs are basically an x pattern support with legs that come down from the 4 corners. The top is indented on 2 parts of the y and nothing in the instructions indicates what part of the chair corresponds to which part of the base. To avoid having to screw the pieces on multiple times, I put the seat on the base both ways and had my niece sit on it and tell me which way felt natural. From the fit and tilt of the seat, it seems that the rounded part of the seat (towards the back where your butt would be), goes over the indented portion of the x. Then you just use a washer, spring washer and the provided Allen wrench to attach the chair to the base. The base is hollow metal in a light colored wood print finish. Theres something loose in mine that rattles when the base is turned but its not like Ill be flipping these over on a regular basis. The velvet fabric covering the chairs is a gorgeous deep emerald green. Its a very soft, short pile velvet. Unfortunately, the stitching is a little rough. There are quite a few loose threads at the seams and then some places where the stitching doesnt go all the way to meet the other corner so theres gaps in the fabric. Theyre pretty and theyll look good once the threads are trimmed. I might use some mighty mend it just to close the little holes
