I purchased this chair to use as a quick bed when I couldnt sleep in my regular bed for awhile, thinking the chair might also be cool to use in my art room. I like the look of the chair, the bed folds and unfolds easily, but is quite hard to sleep on. There is no soft padding on the chair and it feels like you are sleeping on the floor. Even with a fiberfill twin bed topper and a folded comforter underneath me, the flip chair was torture to sleep on. I had to purchase a 3 inch foam pad from the fabric store to place on top of bed and that made all the difference. Now its great. I cant recommend this as a quick extra bed unless you also have a foam topper. The flip chair/as/bed is the equivalent of a box spring, so the foam acts as the mattress. As a chair, its OK.
Really convient and compact for a dorm room. It is narrow, but it really comfortable. My son has this in his dorm room, and his friends that sleep on it say it is more comfortable than it looks. It was a really great buy for a small space.

I use it most often as a chair, but some guests have used it as a bed and they say that it is comfortable. I had difficulty initially trying to figure out how to convert the Flip Chair between its different forms; to go from chair to bed, you have to pull forward and then you can push back.
This is a great lounger, we use it lying flat for watching TV, for 10 year old child. It has a lot of support built in, I fell asleep on it once and it was very comfortable.
I loved it at first, but since having it for a month it has deflated and has a sink whole. I wish the bed part when you flip it down is more comfortable to sleep on. It definitely is better than sleeping on the floor though. I use it when I am doing my homework or watching tv. Nice chair for a couple months but then after is hard to sit on for a long time.
This is so handy for when we have company. Not only does it provide an extra place for someone to sleep, we bring it into the living room to provide extra seating. I plan to buy another one.
