I thought faux leather was leather with feathers. Boy was I sure disappointed at first but I got over it. Granted I wont get any mid night feather tickles on my toesies but its a nice bed set.
Its a nice frame except for our slates broke without a lot of weight on them or anything and no jumping on them just leaned on it to make the bed and cracked!
This bed frame is very sturdy and easy to put together but it is not the silver grey that I had assumed from the picture. It looks good enough and certainly does the job, however it looks a bit too industrial to me rather than the modern look that I was hoping for.
Easy for one person to assemble, but two would be better.
One suggestion: if you have hardwood floors, you may need a pad under it to keep it from sliding around.
I only purchased the bed because of the storage that suppose to be apart of my purchase. I finally received my drawers but three out of four are broke.

Not sturdy
Bed frame bolts keep coming undone and has a bad squeak any time you move.
