Wanted to try this even though I knew it did not have a back. I had to send it back because of that, but the stool was very well made and sturdy. I wish it had worked for me.
Its compact, fits in my trunk without any issues. It comes in handy when needing something to sit on, but it for sure is not comfortable... But its made solid, and wont break easily. I dont regret buying it.
This stool is as strong and sturdy as advertised. I would trust its claim for bearing weight. It is completely unusable as a chair or stool for a large person, because the seat dimensions are for a child or a very small adult. Being both large and heavy, my posterior is more like 24, so fitting even one side of my bottom into the seat was painful. At the time I purchased the seat, several months ago, only the medium size was available, so this is for the 11 x 10-inch seat. Even the 14 seat would not be comfortable. I DO use the stool to hold my CPAP machine while traveling, and my 8 year old granddaughters can use it when we play outdoors. Extremely well-constructed stool.

Strong stool
Very strongly built, it is taller than I am used to as I am replacing a Colman stool I have had a long time.
