We love this bed! It was a lot of pieces. I was a little anxious once I opened the box. Bring your patience with you to put it together take a deep breath! . The instructions are great and go step
By step. We layer everything out in order by number and went from there.
I have 2 young girls and we have all of their dolls area under the bed, Set up like a American doll town. It allows so much more space in their bedroom! The bed is very sturdy. I have no problems getting in the bed with them to read at night (Im not a small lady). I do wish the full size had an option for a slide or stairs just for a little added fun. All and all aming buy.
I will keep it simple and to the point the bed is great quality. Sturdy once put together. It took about 2 1/2 hours and I put it together on my own. The most frustrating thing is getting to one screw that simply does not line up no matter what you do. Other than that, the bed is great. There is a great amount of storage space underneath and enough room for my 7 year old to play comfortably. I would recommend this bed.
This bed was somewhat difficult to assemble like many products. Definitely would help to have a second person available when attaching the end pieces to the side rails. A big tip would be to use power tools to save some time. The slats for the mattress did not fit right and it was difficult to screw them into the wood. I missed a couple times and even got to close to the edge breaking a small chunk of wood off. I thought it was going to be a little taller from the floor to the bottom of the bed and I wasnt able to put my 13 year old sons low profile futon underneath as I had intended to do for a place to sit and play video games with friends. Overall I like it!!!
This bedframe took 5min to assemble and was very sturdy. I love the height it provides and there is no squeaking or noise when I climbed on top of my mattress.
I ordered a bed skirt a long with it to hide the legs and it looks excellent
Great for my 3yo. She learnt to climb up and down in an hour. Hoping the higher perch will discourage her from running out of bed 20 times a night, plus Im hopeful to use the underbed space as a little clubhouse. My daughter has bumped her head a couple of times coming out from the under bed space. As for the ladder, Ive seen some reviews from adults using this bed and that surprises me as the ladder is narrow and really designed for little bodies. The assembly was 2 hours with two people including unboxing for us. Theres a lot of screws as each bed slat needs to be screwed into the frame. On the last slat when we tried screwing it down the frame wood cracked off, thats my only real negative.
I did feel when I was searching that this bed advertised a higher weight capacity and underbed height than most similar beds, that being said it was a little more expensive than similar beds too.
The bed is quite sturdy. The recommended max weight is 150lb but im able to get on there with my daughter and im 160lbs. The slide is sturdy as well and I have no worries with her going up amd down. I purchased a 10 twin mattress which is too high and defeats the purpose of the side rails and also adds to the drop on the slide which she says hurts so look into something smaller. The underside stores her toys and helps out when placing a bed in a smaller room. We also store her books under the stairs. The bed has two mounting slots for the slide so you can choose either side and the empty side can be used for sitting which my daughter likes to dangle her feet over the emtpy side instead of over the rail. I love the thickness of the stairs since my daughter is 5 I have no worries with her climbing down late at night to use the restroom which was a major concern with the other beds that have ladders instead. Assembly took about an hour give or take and the instructions were easy to follow just be sure to read and look at the images closely. Overall, I love this bed and my daughter loves it more.
Its sturdy if you build it right. The wood is soft so it will get bruised very easily. I was in a time and money, and space crunch so this was def a Good investment. I live in and Im a teaching artist so you know things can get very inconsistent.
I really cant say, since I ordered the twin in espresso and received the full in white. What I received is very sturdy considering I am a mostly grown man. I am using an 8 full size memory foam mattress, and I get adequate sleep. It was very and hard to move while boxed, and I will have to disassemble it if I need to move it. Assembly required a hammer and an electric drill, not provided.
I loved this bed so much for me, I bought a second one for my son. I was able to assemble them myself and it only took minutes. Less than 15 with the slats. I would highly recommend this bed. I bought these specifically for the storage capacity and no need for a box spring.
