Once you figure out the first few steps in putting the bed together its pretty simple because the steps are basically repetitive. I did it by myself.
There is not much space between the lower and top bunk. The buck bed we had before this one, an adult could almost completely sit up straight in the lower buck without hitting their head. Im not sure if its because the top buck is a full but it feels and sounds like the boards are going to break when my 52lb 8 year old daughter is on it. She is literally just turning over and not being wild. I do not completely feel safe on the lower bunk.
absolutely quality wood, and beautiful. Only thing I would say bad, is......they taped the trundle wheels in the box, and my neighbor found them in the trash. so, inspect the box before you throw it out!!! Otherwise, this is a beautiful investment!! Really happy with this bed!!!!
Bed is very very nice... the only thing i dont like is that the wooden slacks dont look safe nor sturdy....im going to get more slacks to make it more safe because one blop down on these beds this wood will break and you cant be to careful with the kids.....safety first
All the pieces are numbered.. there is basically one way to correctly put the bed together and when you have pieces incorrect, the rest can’t be put together so you learn quickly. It’s very good quality wood... very sturdy and love how it looks! Wish there was a video on how to put together.. since reading directions is not my strength.. but it took a few hours and myself and 6 year old got it together!
This is our second bunk bed in the house and this one is noticeably sturdier and more reliable. It does take two people to put together but was very simple. I would definitely recommend both for looks as well as craftsmanship.
Just as described - although it’s a marriage tester as putting it together was quite labor intensive. Looks great and all the pieces and parts were good.
