Not the sturdiest bed out there, but our daughter (7) loves it.

    Surprisingly nice for the price

If youre reading this review, youre probably in the same boat as us. We wanted a loft bed for our kids room but didnt wanted to shell out 1,000 for a bed and shipping from Ikea. Nowhere locally seemed to sell loft beds and almost all of the ones we could find online were aluminum (at least with a cheap wooden bed, extra screws can be added). So we bought this bed online through another retailer (the one that starts with a W that everyone hates) for about 100 less than on . The bed was pretty easy to put together and very sturdy with no wood creaks or weird noises. It looks very nice in person and not like the usual el cheapo/put/it/together/yourself kind of furniture. That being said, we got the faux walnut and the stain does look pretty bad, which didnt matter for us since we primed and painted it anyways, which also had the added benefit of covering up the slight shipping damage. The provided allen wrench was also terrible and broke almost immediately and is really too small to use, regardless of its fragility. As others have mentioned, it does give off a cheap bookshelf smell, like lacquer sawdust, for the first couple of days. Overall, I think its a very good bed, especially if you can find it in the 250 ballpark. And as an FYI, when shopping around take into account that its made by Asia and is resold by several other names (zzz being the most common). Also, the Signature Sleep Essential 6/Inch mattress works very well (its shipped rolled up in a box) and can be found for about 80 if you keep an eye out.

    Great bed!

This loft bed arrived the week prior to when it was scheduled and looks so nice! We purchased this for my daughter who has outgrown the bunkbed she previously shared with her sister. The wood is actually a great cherry color and doesnt look cheap at all. My daughter loves the larger loft bed with the room underneath to put her bean bag. For the price, this is a great deal. We are very happy!

Bed will have cracks in the boards, Allen wrench will strip out/ youll need your own

Bed received in damaged condition. Someone in the factory / warehouse must have used those bands for a pallet of these beds. Because the box had three indentations on the side. The band cut into the front support post for the bed. The Allen wrench tool supplied stripped out after the left side of the bed was built. Boards will have cracks, our bed had 5 or 6 visible cracks. I need to find the claims paper work so I can get a new board D I believe.

    Overall, great purchase.

We had to cut it down some because we have a 7ft ceiling in the room we put it in. It was easy enough to do. The desk top came damaged, (the box was damaged I assume through shipping) but the company replaced the top no questions asked and quickly.

    Get the right mattress

Just make sure find the right mattress because I got the memory foam and when it is in bed position it is hard to fold it back into the couch position.

    Excellent space saver.

Bought two of these, the kids love them. They freed up significant space in their rooms. Have had them for over 2 years now with no issues, children are 12 and 16 now, so they seem pretty durable. Well worth the price if you have limited space.

    Way better than I thought!

This bunkbed exceeded my expectations. The desk is a nice super hard plastic so its not a crapy thin wood so it should last along time! Its pretty high off the ground so you get plenty of space to play underneath! We put together three of them in one afternoon! They even came a month early!!! Thankyou!!!
