Looks great - disappointing that the headboard was not taller, but I read previous reviews and knew what I was getting into. We have a hybrid spring/memory foam mattress and almost got a platform box spring for it. You definitely dont need it, or you wont be able to see the headboard or experience the nice cushion backing.
Love the way it looks. Give that mid century vibe I wanted! Color is great and true to what I expected. A nice moss green. The quality is ok. The box arrived quickly and without instructions and missing a few pieces (which were just protectors for the floor). The flow to put this together is odd. You need two people as putting the legs on does not come in a order you would think, it is when you are almost done. Lots of creaking the first night that I thought we were going to have the bed fall through to the floor. It has been about a month. It still creaks on just not as much. It is lower to the floor than I thought it would be. You can see it sits lower than the side tables. We have short mattress though (Stumptown). Hoping to get the vintage brass birds up above the bed today to finish the look on the wall.
Awesome bedrame. The last cheap metal beframe I purchased from someone else, was a sad mistake. Super squeaky, noisy and deadly corners. Not this one though Its super sturdy, soft color and I assembled it by myself easily. Directions are very straightforward and the pieces were all clean. Definitely worth it, I will have it a long time.
Once assembled, this bed looks attractive and is very sturdy. Furniture assembly is not my favorite activity. I got it accomplished but it seemed unwieldy with may steps. Not especially hard just time-consuming. It does look pretty nice though. the headboard, though is significantly shorter than I anticipated. The green is a bit murky. I was looking for more of rich forest green and this is more of a green denim. Nice and sturdy though with no wobbles, wiggles or squeaks.
I spent days looking for a gray linen bed and had the hardest time finding one that I loved and was affordable. I actually found this bed on Wayfair first, and then on here (Same price but ships faster). I immediately fell in love with the look and style of this bed, but got nervous reading some of the polarizing comments down here.
I am happy to say I just spent my first night sleeping in my new bed and I couldnt be more happy! This bed is beautiful, sturdy, and well made. I was able to put the whole thing together myself in about an hour and a half (hardest part was getting it out of the box).
Its beautiful, just like pictures (we got the green).
Comes in 2 Boxes. Easy to put together. Sturdy. Well packaged. Id definitely pay more for this bed.
