Nice quality, easy too assemble, looks nice. Soo in love with this bed! It looks amazing and is so much fun for a small childs first big kid bed. Only downfall was the 3 1/2 hr assembly, but everything is vey well labeled and easy to find while assembling!
Its not for everyone, but its perfect for us! This bed was a much better value than we expected. We havent put up the top mattress yet as its for our three yo gs. But it is very sturdy now so I am sure that will sturdy it up even more. Husband didnt fuss while putting it together so that says a lot! We could not be happier with it.
It looks amazing I found the best price on and purchased here for 6 and 7 year old kids, I spent more than half the day putting the pcs together. all was good until we were finishing on the top roof, found one piece wasnt shaped precisely to hold the other two pcs, I think it was item 19? therefore, I didnt put the roof board on, just left on the floor, serving as a headboard-- good. the design and color make it beautiful and kids love it, I chose it because it has more protection on top bed; but I still feel a bit worried when I see it shaking with kids playing on it. hope it will last long enough
one more thing worries me the most is the slats, one set is shorter than the other and just happened to be put on the top level and I have to keep telling the kids not to jump hard on top bed, it may easily fall off. since the shorter set has been nailed on already, Ive been searching for a few pieces to add in the middle on the top level to make it safe for growing kids. hope I can get help on that and they should be 39 or 39.5
update: actually I noticed that a few slats in the middle are shorter than the ones on the two ends, dont know why it was made this way, should be the same length so the middles section wont fall down if kids are more active on it. I added a few pcs of wood in the middle, its much better now.
The manufacturer has incredible customer service. Its very comfy and Im very happy! Our two little boys love this bed. It is like a fort in their room. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and how easy it was to put together. It took my wife and I about three and half hours to put it together, and I consider myself fairly handy. There are A LOT of bolts. But the directions are pretty easy to follow. Once it was all together, it feels very solid and I dont feel any wobble at all. I do remember the roof being a little tricky to get on.
The provided slats are nice, but this definitely wont support an average adult. My wife got up there to make the bed and the slats were quite bendy. (If any of you tell her I wrote this, expect a visit). I mean obviously they held and didnt break - but I wouldnt think youd want to be up there more than once.
Very pleased!!!! My son loves his new bed. Its the perfect height for him to crawl in and out of the top bunk.(With the help of the ladder, of course) We had to modify the top roof. Our ceiling was too low. So assembly took a little longer, but end product was well worth it.
