I purchased this for my son. Hes 12 and 54.
I had a friend help me put this together and it took us a couple hours. Make sure you read the instructions and pay attention to the holes in the pictures. We lined things up wrong and had to take it apart and move things around. Totally our fault for not paying attention but even with that, it was really easy to put together.
As others have pointed out, the steps are a nightmare! Theyre so hard to step on! I tried buying soft edgers that parents use for babies but it didnt really help. So Ill have to purchase something else to make it easier for him to climb in and out.
That said, its a really nice bunk bed. The best is really nice and its well put together. Love it.

I liked that shipping was earlier than expected date. My daughter has been wanting this loft bed for a while and I was able to finally get it. I did the installation myself but it does require two people for Atleast the first 20 mins of assembling. The bed does kind of shake when shes climbing up we double checked the bolts and they were secured tight enough so maybe its just a minor flaw, my daughter is only 7 and weighs about 85lbs. Pretty easy step by step instructions I maybe finished it in about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Bought this for Christmas!! Still love it.
This bed is wonderful! Very sturdy and well made. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Not one hiccup through the whole assembly. Highly recommended! It was perfect!

This unit is made very well. The construction is sturdy and has a modern appearance. The packaging was very well thought out and had spares for a lot of the fasteners. It did take me about two hours to complete the setup but for something this size I didnt think it was too bad. My kid loves the fact that she has a desk under the bed now and some shelves for her things. Could not be happier with the unit. Amazing!!!
For the price I paid, I didnt expect it to be as good as it actually turned out to be. This is a lot sturdier than other bunkbeds that I have had in the past. You definitely want to have a drill to assemble this, but it can be done with a wrench it will just be a lot slower. My Nephew likes it,
This bed is as sturdy as you can get for a frame. Directions are clear. It does take two people but that should be expected with something this size. I bought my daughters each one 2 years ago. They are both going strong. The bolts can wiggle loose from time to time so every few months I go through and check and tighten the ones that need it. A couple of bolt had wiggled free and I couldnt find them. I emailed the company a few days ago explaining that we had lost them (TWO YEARS AFTER THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE) and they sent the replacement bolts out today. Great beds my kids love and fantastic customer service, cant beat that. My son loves it!

Easy to put together
