So far I love this futon/sofa! I was worried since I got a really good deal on this piece that it would be cheap/low quality but I was really pleasantly surprised when I got it out of the box. The material seems pretty nice, not super soft but nice. The look is very hip and it looks great in my small living area. It lays down easy for sleeping (but I have not someone sleep on it yet). Overall I am pleased! I purchased the gray color and it is fully upholstered even on the back. One small issue was the zipper under the cushion where they stored the legs for shipping broke after opening so I had to safety pin the fabric so it would not hang down. it is the best
I had my mind set on the 499 Ikea pull out couch for guests. But I read reviews that the fabric wears fast if you have pets and it holds onto pet hair even if you try to vacuum it. so, skeptically, I looked on . After a lot of comparison shopping, we bought this for our spare bedroom and literally put it together minutes before my guest arrived.
This thing is remarkably smart and stylish for the cost. The color and fabric is really nice, I love the modern look, and if you add a memory foam pad to the couch when folded out into a bed, it is LEGIT AS COMFY AS A BED. The little support legs that zip out of the back for when it is folded out/ so clever!
If you needed a main couch for now/ maybe even for a few years before you have more space/ I dont think youll regret this. assembly was SO MUCH EASIER than IKEA would have been, and about the same quality/ but youll need 2 people. I now have a little spot to sit and drink coffee in peace every morning, and it doesnt seem to hold pet hair at all. No complaints, really happy
It looks really nice! And its the perfect size for my apartment, the only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5, is because it isnt the comfiest futon in the world. Ha.
But aside from that it is a wonderful addition to my living room, and I love it. Love the color and it was very comfortable
Loving this couch so far. The finishes/colors were just right and you cant even tell its a futon.
I have 2 main issues:
1. I heard an obvious rattling coming from the couch when I was moving it around. Turns out it is from the hardware that allows the backrest to go up and down. I guess some part of the hinge is loose. Not a big deal since I only hear it when I move the couch.
2. When in bed position, if you lay too far towards the backrest part it will flip over. Simple enough to deal with for one person, but if you have two people and the one on the seat part gets upsee ya later number 2 It arrived on time
We bought this couch when we moved across country to a small apartment, and needed something that was versatile and relatively inexpensive. Weve had it for almost a year now and its done the job, especially with having two big dogs and a cat that sleep on it often. It cleans easily, and is super easy to set up and move around. It is, however, not very comfortable at all. You can feel every piece of wood/spring in it, and when you have it folded down as a bed it tips over if you dont stay right in the middle. It was a good temporary solution for our move as it looks ok, we are definitely ready for something a little more comfortable.
Love it! Looks great, and the instructions were excellent. I put it together by myself, but I needed someone else just to help me turn it over. Great looking. I totally recommend it
I love it. It looks very nice. Comfortable. People exaggerate about how hard it is. Relatevily easy to assemble. Comes in a huge box. simple yet awesome design
Looks exactly like the picture, and was so easy to assemble. Its definitely for looks and not for comfort, but it suited our purpose well as an office couch. Ill use it to lounge while chatting on the phone or reading a book and its plenty comfortable for that, but its not what I would choose to cuddle up for a movie on. We havent had anyone sleep on it yet, but we plan to put down some additional padding when we do. I love the way it looks, the fabric is beautiful. cant praise it enough!
Got the gray version, and have been surprisingly happy with this purchase. It was straight/forward to put together, and easily folds down to futon/large chaise mode (upzips in each back half, and you flip out a small leg base before folding each back down). The diagonal stitching pattern adds nice flair, and the gray/specks/with/white material almost has a tweed/like or heathered gray look. Im really digging the look of it. It has a springiness to it when you sit or lay on it, but you cant feel the springs. I think its pretty comfortable overall, especially at this price point. still feels plenty sturdy
Great playroom couch! Our kids got this for their playroom and they love it! Its a great size and nice quality. However, it is not super comfortable for adults and I wouldnt recommend it as a main couch. Our kids love that it folds into a futon and they sleep on it almost every weekend. Its a perfect size for little kids. Cant imagine an adult sleeping on it. My husband and I tried laying on it and we would never make it. Overall for what we paid Im pretty happy with it. Super easy assembly. But other than that it's nice

Great playroom couch! Our kids got this for their playroom and they love it! Its a great size and nice quality.
