Im not in love but I do like this chair. I work at home and am very hard on chairs. This one feels like it will hold up to my abuse. It is well made but not so comfy for taller people. I am only 56 tall and the back hits me dead center of my back. There is zero lumbar support due to this. I dont have the resources of time nor money to replace it right now so, heres hoping it get better with use.
Love love love this chair. The seat has a nice thick cushion, the back is perfect. It Great for the long days in the office. I would definitely by again,
The only thing I wish it had was the ability to change the height of the arm rests. Other than that, Im pretty happy. Constructions sturdy, so it seems like it will hold up a while.
When I got this chair, I first thought how easy it was to put together. I work from home and I have had to put a lot of chairs together and this one was refreshing. When I sit on the chair, it was sturdy but not comfortable with the arms down. I am a heavier woman and have wide hips. The arms arent comfortable with both in the down position.
Now, fast forward a few weeks. Im sitting on the chair, talking to a customer. I had the back reclined a little. I sit up and CRACK!!!! I am sure I screamed and thought I broke my chair! All I did was sit up straight. I get off the phone, check the chair and nothing is broken, but the back was back in the normal position, not the reclined I had it in. I put it back in recline, sit up and CRACK!! So now I just know if I am reclining, to move the handle before I sit up, so I dont have a heart attack.
I didnt purchase a warranty, so Im stuck with my chair that cracks. I figured its like me, when I stand up and every bone cracks. We are 2 peas in a pod.
EDIT: The company reached out to me and replaced the part that was giving the issue. So far no issues.
Ive read reviews that state this is an uncomfortable chair for bigger folks, but they obviously never sat in my last chair. ;) I bought one of these for my wife a few months back and the assembly instructions were a little vague. I mentioned that in a review, heard back from the company quickly, and after a little back and forth, they assured me they were going to revise the instructions.
They did. I kid you not!
I have lower back issues and this chair has plenty of lower back support. Couldnt be happier at this price point.
My old chair finally bit the dust and I decided to give this chair a shot.
As the product images show you, the padding on this chair is very thick. Unlike my old chair or virtually any other chair Ive used, I no longer get tailbone pain. I work from home, and its a welcome change to be able to sit for 8 hours without as much pain.
The back on this chair is mesh, which helps keep cool while using it. It is a bit stiff, so I do get slight back pain at the end of the day. But I think its forcing me to sit with better posture, so that might be why. Some reviews mentioned the chair being slanted forward so you feel like youre falling off the whole time. I do notice this, but I only notice it if Im slouching and sitting with bad posture.
Otherwise my only negative is that my legs dont fit under my desk because of the height. Obviously thats not their fault. And I did add the inline skate wheels to it, which are also taller than the standard casters.
All in all, a much better chair than the standard ones you get at big box stores. Especially for heavier folks, since its made for us. Definitely recommend getting the inline skate wheels as well. They glide great, make no noise, and dont ruin your floor.
