Most of these articulate the back with the seat. Ive found that even the most robust chairs of that design fail eventually. The metal cant handle the stress.
This one is different. The BACK articulates, but not the SEAT.
The first one I got, the fabric on the back was not correctly installed. I returned it for a replacement and the return is flawless.
I will say that hands down this is the best big-and-tall chair Ive ever had (and Ive been through a LOT of them.
As a trained ergonomic specialist I can say this chair fits all of the requirements for a person of my stature. And as a bonus... Its super comfy. Ive switched my career and am working at home now so having a chair of this quality is truly a blessing!
Its a very nice chair. One feature I didnt think I would like is that you can lift the arms up and I didnt know why I would need that, but I use it all the time. So its a really great chair.
The chair advertises a 500lb weight limit, I am a heavy guy at 350, but still well under capacity. Chair mechanism has broken after only 6 months of daily home office use. Started the warranty process and we will see how that goes, as Im not even sure my email went to the correct place as the website doesnt give much info.
Prior to breaking the chair still wasnt very comfortable to sit in due to the angle it seems to lean forward.
UPDATE: After speaking with the seller on , they shipped me all the replacements parts for my chair which is back to normal. With the new parts it doesnt seem to lean forward as much either. Make sure to contact them on as the email I sent to the address on the website was never replied to. Very happy to see they backed their product, and to move the review up to 4 stars.
I got this chair because I am a big guy and want a chair rated for bigger than me. It assembled very easy and appears good and solid. I did buy the better wheels with it - I have them on all my chairs. So far it feels very good. It seems to stay in the position I set it at. And my back appears to feel better sitting in it. That is why I say: Good So Far!.
First, its a really good chair. Well thought out. However, the arm rests keep loosening at the swivel point. The next time I have retighten the arms I will put in some loctite.
Overall a good purchase.

Good So Far

Sturdy chair for a reasonable price.
Others have rated this chair comfort poorly, but I think it is reasonably comfortable. The mesh chairback is much cooler than leather.
