I purchased this over a metal bed because it looked more sturdy and nicer. I had a handy man help me assemble it and it was wobbling. We had to add support boards to stabilize it. The wood was much more narrow than I expected and it looks like a quality bed. I could have bought a metal bed for a fraction of the price. I hoped to be receiving a pottery barn Aesthetic that would last for years to come. Instead I got a wobbly cheap looking bed that I will be lucky if it last 2 years. Keep your money and look else where.
Get it dont think about it I purchased this bunk bed set because I wanted the bottom bunk to be separate from the loft, so we could move it to a different room if we wanted to in the future. My daughter is so happy with this set. The storage within the stairs is a great bonus!!
6 year old child, not sturdy enough, quality of wood not good, very thin. Some pieces were cracked when came in. Only if I could of return it I would. But is too big to send it back so Im stuck with it. Quality needs to improve
suit for my apartment! Assembly was awful. Parts were mislabeled, and the instructions were often unclear, sometimes with a hardware image totally missing. I had to take apart the whole thing and rebuild it after I guessed wrong on one step that was unclear. At one point you have to screw into a small dowel rod to attach the stair railing, and it just shatters under the pressure.
The bed overall is very wobbly, but it looks nice. There could very easily have been thicker, sturdier beams. There were some quality control issues too with running paint or scratches.
I love that the full bed was not attached, as I didnt need it and sold it.
The storage under the stairs is long and fits a lot, but the biggest compartment (the bottom stair) doesnt even have a way to open it. I just left the cover off it so that it can be accessed and not wasted.
Easy to assemble and look amazing. Top bunk sits lower than shown on pics. I like this set though. It took a bit of time to build it but my grandson and I did it! Its of pretty good quality in my opinion.

Takes a little time to put together but very good product.
