This shelf is great, looks wonderful on the wall and hold everything I need it to. It is a genuine pain to install. Id recommend some way to see the holes in the back of the shelves that is removable after install, like neon stickers or something, because when you are holding this sturdy piece of shelving on the wall and trying to hang it, they are nearly impossible to find when you need to! Very sturdy, and just what we needed to add a media shelf to the wall underneath our TV. Perfect size and shape. Arrived just in time for Christmas. Comes as shown in picture.
Instructions should have been sent with unit and should tell left from right. Brackets should be included. Otherwise its a great unit. The instructions were perfect! I didnt get confused at all
This is a nice floating stand but the pre drilled holes wont match up to the studs in the wall , highly recommend drilling into studs and creating your own holes , we actually got some shelf anchors to hold it in place. Needs better support
first off the stand is pretty nice. most of the negative reviews could so easily be fixed. the stand is not sturdy at all with what is given. however with a drill bit and some extra screws you can add screws into it going directly into studs making it much more sturdy. I did this and it is much more sturdy. I will say the center is still pretty flimsy and they could so easily fix this simply by adding a back panel to the stand. this then would also make jt much more sturdy as you could again drill it out and add screws and this thing would be SOLID. over all it is really nice but the pictures of people showing it being ripped off the wall should just use some common sense and throw screws into the studs and probably 95 of the negative reviews would be fixed. granted you still cant put cry weight on this, I have a xbox one, Playstation 4, sound bar, some games for each, a couple of candles and decorative pieces.
Love the idea, love the concept. The unit itself isnt to bad to put together, and it is quite sturdy. However attaching it to the wall with the provided hardware is not so sturdy. It fell off our wall and damaged some of our stuff. We ended up using lag bolts and attaching it to the studs. Much better!
