I am mostly satisfied with this purchase. The bed is pretty easy to put together, just time consuming because there are a lot of pieces. The instructions having only pictures was just fine for me. Each piece was labelled with a number, which made it quick and easy to assemble. I felt that the amount of slats per bed was sufficient and is working out just fine for my kids. I can understand how it might not work out so well with foam mattresses, but the mattresses I purchased were mostly spring and then a couple of inches of foam on top. The bed does get scuffed up pretty easy, which I was a little disappointed by. I purchased the white bed and while screwing in the screws there were times that the tool would slip and nick the bed and instantly put marks on it.
The biggest issue I had was a few of the screws and bolts would not tighten, which meant I wasnt able to complete the build of the slide. Whether it was the screws or the bolts I am not sure, but once the bolts were screwed in about a quarter of the way up then the bolts would slide up the thread, therefore could never tighten. I contacted the company, who were easy to get a hold of. They instructed me to fill out a specific form for parts and will get the items expedited to me. Even with that little hiccup I am very happy with the product and the company. GREAT LOVE IT!!!
My girls, 2 and 4, love their bunk bed. I love how low it is.Im 55.its about chest high for me. It definitely should of came with more slats, especially for the top bunk We added more. We also wrapped the metal bar under the top bunk in pipe foam. I then covered the top slats in a star and cloud fabric. My girls love it! The top railing isnt very sturdy, but its not necessarily a safety issue. We check it frequently. Overall its a nice bunk, a space saver, and a decent price. We purchased the clay. 2 pics included. Better then I thought
From unboxing to assembly this took me 2.5 hours by myself. I would have finished sooner if I didnt have to install an extra set of slats. I used a power drill with a screw bit and a hex bit. Couldnt find my mallot so I just used the back of my drill
I just happened to have an extra set of slats to use on the bottom. I used the two sets of slats that came with this for the top because they are just way too far apart. So that was time consuming.
Stairs could use some type of rubber grip on the bottom.
Im very happy with it. Didnt have a smell like others. Did not disappoint
This bed is sturdy and beautiful! It works perfectly. The only thing that Im bummed about is that it has a metal beam running along the underside of the top bunk that my daughter has now hit her head on several times. Im going to have to figure out how to cover it up with foam or something. I kind of wish this company offered something to help with this. Other than that my husband set this up in maybe 1.5/2 hours pretty easily by himself (I helped hold something in place one time). My daughter adores this bed and Im very happy with it. You wont regret it!

Looks nice, kids love it, and it went together pretty easy.
Dislike:
The way the side guard goes on the top bed feels pretty flimsy, and I fear if its leaned on too hard, it will snap off. Good Quality for Cost
I was on the hunt for a bunk bed for my four year old and my one, almost two, year old. Due to their small room, we knew we really needed a bunk bed but I was nervous about the height of regular ones as this is my toddlers first bed. I honestly feel like this was a great (and maybe the only) solution! My four year old loves sleeping on the top and once we transition my toddler, he will only be a few inches off the ground. It looks really cute and fits great in their small room.
It feels pretty sturdy and I liked that it was all wood. Ive climbed up with my daughter (Im 122 lbs for reference) and felt comfortable and secure. The weakest part seems to be the wood piece that runs along the top ladder side so weve told my daughter not to hang on it or use it to help her climb up. May be a way to easily reinforce that piece. Time will tell how it holds up!
It did have a mild paint smell when it arrived, but I would expect that of anything painted. Its airing out nicely.
There isnt a ton of head clearance on the bottom so we are having to teach my son to be aware of that. But thats the price of having it be lower! We bought a six inch mattress for the bottom (the Costco Juniper mattress which someone else recommended on here), and were using my daughters 10 inch on top. Because shes not a roller, I feel ok with that, but if I was purchasing a new one I wouldve went with a 6 or 8 inch for the top as well. Fits regular twin mattresses.
On the shipping experience.it was awful and we actually had to send it back and reorder the same bunk bed through the Max and Lily site. The box from Amazon came looking like a shark attacked it. Driver left it in the driveway where I couldnt get it into the house, so I was left with a box that was open on one end, had multiple holes and was stuck outside until my husband got home. We opened it up to find multiple dents on various bunk bed pieces that were significant enough we needed to return it. Process was pretty smooth, though it was hard coordinating pick/up. All that said, Im a little bit skeptical of ordering big furniture now via amazon.
Minus the negative shipping experience, this is a great space saving solution that works for little ones and is fun for them. If it holds up well, Ill be happy! Pay attention to the pictures!
This is a good bed. It was complicated to put together, though. I highly recommend using zip ties or rope/bungee cord to keep the base and headboard together as you place it in the frame (see picture for reference). Otherwise the little slats fall out and it is very annoying. Zip ties were a game changer (I used 24 heavy duty zip ties that we had on hand). The bed seems sturdy, but I was disappointed to see that the bolts caused two larger boards to crack. I expected better quality than that. My kids love their new beds, though. It was packaged nicely

Not easy to assemble, Husband is very handy and had trouble
Great beds but apparently the instructions were not clear. Husband had to reassemble it after doing it wrong the first time. We love it

QUALITY FOR THE MONEY
visual instructions were for the most part easy to follow, quality is good and bunks beds are sturdy. what else can I say. 4 out of 5 stars. Love it
A great buy!
Sturdy and great price, make sure its more than 1 person to assemble! We have no dislikes
Use zip ties to put together; some cracked wood.
