Ok, I love the fact there is storage under the bed, lots of room for storage, the slats are wood and if bed is plopped on by a child under 5 they break, the drawers are great space, but the fronts will fall off if used often, the drawers are only to be open every so often. I have owned over a year and with in first 6 months slats broke, and after a year the drawers had to be drilled back together. Headboard is great have had no issues with holes or popped buttons,
Ok. We bought this and originally used it as intended, only to realize that we would likely never use the trundle (it was cheaper at the time to buy it with a trundle). I ended up building a lego tray and upholstering a cushioned edging. The reason that I can say with absolute certainty that it is sturdy is because I beat the hell out of it during the making and attaching of hardware/boards etc. Also, my husband regularly cuddles with my almost 5-year-old on the bed and there is no creaking or indication of not being able to hold the weight. Okay, I expected possible delays in shipping due to the pandemic, two day shipping turned into 10 day shipping. However, I ordered two of these beds, should have been eight boxes in all, only received six boxes. From my reading of the reviews, this is a common issue. Neither of the beds showed up with the 4th box that contains the foot board. I am using these in a finished loft and do not want head boards; however, without the foot boards, the beds are totally useless. I could build one bed using the tall legs from the second bed and build the other bed with the short legs and skip the trundle, but I shouldn't have to! I contacted Atlantic Furniture Customer Service, only to receive a person that answered the phone like they were at their house, sipping on a Mai Tai "hello". I was informed that their customer service was unavailable due to the pandemic. I tried to reach out to via customer service email, but there isn't one. I called customer service and received a recorded message that they too are unavailable due to the pandemic. Come on , if you can still ship items, you can manage your customer service!!!!!!! So basically, I'm SOL for the time being or I will have to be creative and build and try to match the stain of the foot boards, or I can mix and match the two beds to build three. Pretty frustrated to say the least and would recommend not ordering this item, at least until the Company is back at work, at a minimum!

Once we had all the pieces laid out it was very easy to put together and straight forward.
Very sturdy and excellent quality!!!! We didn’t take the backing off the sticky tape of the slates as I read in previous reviews that it ruins the mattress. Plus, I need to make the bed and will need to lift the mattress. My son has slept in it two nights and the mattress has not moved at all!
Overall, very happy with this bed and would purchase again!

Missing Parts-The Foot Boards-
