When I first purchased the sand and put a gather it was smaller than what I expected and I was not able to put my 62 inch TV on here. Because it is a lot lower to the ground than what I expected. I ended up using this as a storage unit for my pet foods and my pet turtles aquarium for temporary purposes. It actually does pretty good for storing things that you dont have and otherwise section for.
The ease by which this item was assembled was truly a first for me. The entertainment center was a pop-in-place, great for someone like me who has trouble with assembling items. This was EXACTLY what I was hoping for and it really only took me about 15 minutes to assemble and yes, it is attractive and sturdy.
I purchased a used version at a discounted price. Im not fancy but I appreciate functional. All pieces showed up and minimal issues with the finish aside from some edges. The legs/supports and plugs are all plastic so dont use it as a place to sit and take your shoes off but it does hold a 42 tv on a metal and glass stand. After a few days I did notice it was sagging a bit in the middle so I purchased a 1/2 wooden dowel and cut it into 13 lengths and added support beneath the shelf the tv is on and beneath the shelf below that to the floor. Been working great, definitely functional and works well with work put into it to support what you may put on it.
For the money I paid, I have no complaints. Thankfully I didnt buy it for my tv. Bought it to put my soundbar. If youre buying it for your tv, I dont think its sturdy enough to hold a 55 tv.
I had to move it because the outlet behind it stopped working. Im disabled and live alone so I scooted it a little on the carpet. Immediately 3 of the feet snapped clean off and the stand fell apart. My suggestion would be to box off or round off the feet so this wouldnt happen again but totally would NEVER have bought this had I known how poorly made it was.
