The overall piece was shorter than I expected, even though I took measurements, which is on me. Im using it as a coffee table rather than a television stand as a result of my own duh moment.
That said, some of the pieces were very difficult to screw together due to melt on the inside threads, but I was able to crank them together by hand, but I could see where someone would give up and return it. This is my 4th piece of furniture from , and this was the only piece that gave me any problems. The legs are made of plastic, as are the threads, and the melt happens when the mold/part is too hot when being produced.
TIP: I used a pair of poly coated gloves to assemble this piece of furniture, which lends for a proper grip when screwing the pieces together - its plastic, so its going to be slippery.
For me, its a nice piece of furniture for the price, its sturdy, and it serves its purpose.
I bought this over a year ago, its still standing, still is great!! I paid 28$ for it, now its 50$… I dont know if Id spend 50$ on this product. I returned to it to buy a second one so my tv would be a little higher, but Im not spending 50$ on plastic, fake wood lol. Its GREAT for 28$ not for 50$.
This stand is the type that should go into a childs room or a teenagers room. This stands sits low to the ground which makes a 50 inch tv look even bigger. Its nice for my 18 year old room, but I would not want to put it in my living-room unless you have no choice.
