We just got the table in today. We needed something smaller since we now only have an eat-in kitchen. The table easily sits four -- and we arent exactly small -- and is solid so far. Given its size, I was concerned it would be easy to move around and tip, but it is well-built.
Assembly was a breeze since we only needed to attach the legs. Eight bolts and done. I would highly recommend using a drill with a hex head instead of the included tools since the holes in the legs dont seem all that consistent.
Simple clean lines. Easy to assemble. Pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it is. Delivered on time. Enough space for two people to dine comfortably. Plates in second picture for reference are 10.5 inches. Size works well for my apartment. For now gets 5/5. Will update review once I get a chance to use it for some time and see if it stains easily or scratches.
As you can see in the picture, with one side folded down it will still fit three people and be very comfortable. If a fourth person needs to sit, the table is just pulled out and the back leaf is put up. It is very good looking, very sturdy, and easy to assemble. The only thing on assembly is please read the instructions first. Had we done so that wouldve helped.
Not rock solid compared to a good fixed table, but plenty sturdy enough to serve a meal without spilling your soup and beverages. Even if it were less sturdy, unlikely to be kicked since it seats 4 comfortably. Could probably seat a couple more in a pinch. As attractive as the pictures. Assembled easily without bothering with the instructions. Folds easily, unfolding takes some practice. In summary, I am pleased with the product. On the minus side, packed with Styrofoam that crumbled easily. Box was full of crumbs that got all over the carpet and, ultimately, a cats fur, during unboxing and assembly. It seems unlikely it couldnt be packed in a way that is effective, economical, more environmentally friendly and less of a nuisance.
First we love gateleg tables and own or have owned 4. This was the best value.
We use this as an entry hall table since it is only about 8 inches wide. We bought it because our primary is an Eames table, when we want to entertain we need more table space.
Bought one for our sons Manhattan apartment.

I personally feel like this was a great value for the table! Its definitely solid wood. Cleans easily, and doesnt stain when a drink is accidentally left on the table! That was my biggest worry, but so far so good. Perfect for four chairs and matched well with my mid century modern white chairs :) great buy!
