I've been using this for about a month now. I'm a 25 female and I have had no issues with it being not sturdy enough. The desk is huge and comfortable to sit at for an adult.
Just 2 days after ordering this set, it arrived at my home, with all the pieces and some extra screws. It took some time to set up. Mainly due to my fiance's error.(Men). But it's up, very sturdy and I love the fact that there's room from the bottom and top bunk, this bed does not take up alot of room and the best part of all is that you can separate and make it into 2 twin beds.
Just as I hoped, this bed is sturdy with no “squeakiness” to it. Assembly was easy, a small tip; it is easier with 3 people (2 adults and 1 teenager) but it can be done with just 2.
Just beware of the white colour... Not a true white. It has a slightly creamy tone to the white. Just a little bit different than the pictures.
Also - helpful hint...... Make sure that you have the bed in the proper final position before you finish assembly...... It's a big box once it's together, and you can't turn it around in a narrow room! Ask me how I know....
Just do not tighten all the bolts fully till it’s all assembled. I’ve put together too many bunk beds in my life already.. wood, . This one gave me ZERO problems. Two person job.
Just finished assembling this, took about 3 hours solo. I’ve assembled a lot of flat-pack furniture in the past and this went together very smoothly. Instructions were clear and holes precisely drilled.
Slightly wobbly even with everything torqued down as much as I dared. Some components are quite soft wood but the most important elements (desk top and ladder rings) are made of quite heavy duty stuff.
Just finished building this bed last night. Took around 3 hours with 2 people. The quality seems sturdy for sure. Carefully read the instructions and make sure all the screws and parts are there. This bed is actually for my brothers, so it can definitely hold the weight. My brother that sleeps on the top bunk is around 215 and it can definitely hold his weight. The 2 attachment that goes in the middle of the futon frame is kinda a pain when you try to switch to bed and couch. I would rate it 5 stars if only I wasn't missing any screws and some of the letters on the parts were switched around. One of the screws I'm missing is one of the side rails, so now I can only go up on one side.
Just finished the assembly. Another old guy and myself took about two hours. The directions could be a little more detailed. The unit was missing one part; one of the 44 slats. Not a big issue, I just left the missing one out of the end of the lower unit (behind the ladder). It will not cause a problem. The cross slats that support the mattress are actually steel tubes that hook into the side frames. They are held in place by their own weight, but there is also a plastic clip that inserts in the side frame slot that keeps the rod from rattling (44 rods 88 clips).
The clips are a pain to put in. There is one small bolt hole that secures the top left side of the ladder to the bottom side of the top frame (on the ladder side). Make sure the upper side frame (ladder side) is installed with the hole facing down.
All of these bunk beds come with upper safety rails. The back upper rail (full length) is used as a structural support for the head and foot frames, so it should not be removed, but putting on bed sheets on the upper is a daunting and frustrating task. Trying to get your hands through the frames is a pain.
Anyway; the product arrived in good condition (less the missing piece), and assembly, though time consuming, was uneventful. the assembled unit is sturdy.

We love it
Just as I imagined it would be. Good for small spaces. My daughter loves it.
Perfect for my daughter’s room
Just as seen here in the picture. Nothing to complain about, it is so it can be a bit squeaky but nothing WD40 can’t fix.

Just buy it. This is THE ONE.
