It took me a few months to find the right bed! I was very pleased with the service I received from their customer service department. I recommend purchasing this bunk bed desk combo.
It took me about 4 hours to put together. The bed frame came shipped with very li damage. However it did come in one very heavy box. Wish it was in two boxes (I’m sure the UPS driver would appreciate too). Every piece was identified with a number, so it wasn’t that difficult to figure out what went where. Just make sure you give yourself time to put together without distractions.
I do wish the ladder was a bit wider, the bed is for a 13 year old boy, and while he is not tall, he is of normal width. Bed should hold up to his use until he gets tired of it, or moves out for college, which ever is first.
It took me about 3 hours to put together. My son and I LOVE this bed. It gave my baby the room needed to give his room more walking space. The ladder hurt his feet after a few days of going up and down, so I bought some baby proofing foam, for sharp corners, and put them on there (2nd pic), and it worked great. It was a great buy, for less than $300.00.
: I still love the bed, but I need to re tighten the screws now. Not a deal breaker for me, because my son is heavy, and I expect things to get lose. It is wobbly, even with the screws tightened. I feel he is safe in it, and he loves it. The only con to this bed, is making it up daily. Geez.. I did not think about that at all.
It took my wife and I several hours to assemble but overall with instructions it wasn’t so bad. Once completed the whole bed felt very sturdy and it made our daughters room more spacious. She loves her new bed !!

My 5 year old grand daughter was thrilled. We did go out and buy non- skid strips for ladder for safety.

But I would have preferred something a little more sturdy. It sways quite a bit when I lean on it with the slightest pressure. At over 200lbs, I would not feel at all comfortable climbing onto it even for a minute. But it's fine for my 11yo.
The ladder steps are also big enough that the cats get up and down with little difficulty.

A Good Bed
It took a few people to help us hold the bed frame/loft as we put it together, but that’s because there was lots of parts. My young child loves it.

Less sturdy than I'd like.
