Buying products online is still new to me so taking a chance and ordering a large piece of furniture online was quite nerve wracking.
The flip side is we didnt have to hassle driving to a handful of furniture stores and being followed around by commissioned salespeople, only to go home empty handed because we couldnt decide on something.
I researched lots of leather sofa brands. My son and daughter in law had purchased a vegan leather sofa from a different a different mfg and it looks great, but isnt comfortable. After 3-4 months, the sofa looks very worn and the padding is quite flat.
This and Bark Napa Sofa is super soft and offers firm support.
If youre looking for a soft pillow top type sofa, this isnt for you. If you appreciate real leather with all its natural imperfections and a more firm surface this is a GREAT buy.
Im debating buying 2 of the the Napa Chairs now.
BONUS: If there is an issue with the main cushion, you can buy a replacement for approx $600 (price as of March 2022).
Having removeable cushions is the best. You can replace cushions as needed without having to pay for a whole new sofa.
I cant imagine that the frame will have an issue, but if it does, it becomes a warranty/mfg issue.

MY CATS love to put their claws in my leather. In my naivety I went all in bought the left facing sofa, 2 lounge chairs and the round ottoman. It takes A LOT of upkeep with pets. I am not the norm however, I rescue pit bulls bottle feed kittens. So theres 4 dogs 2 cats. I found that if I touch up scratches or scuffs on a daily basis or every couple days it goes much easier. I usually keep a waterproof mattress protector on both bottom cushions on the couch covered by a blanket. I rarely have visitors other than kids so it doesnt bother me. Its also wintertime I find sitting on cold leather not enjoyable. Dogs are not allowed on the 2 lounge chairs which is where I do spend most of my time. Very comfortable seems to be holding up well although its only been 6 mos.
We downsized and, alas, our former furniture just didnt work. I looked high and low for pieces that would work for our new living room. I liked the and Bark apartment couch. We ended up buying 2 so we had comfortable seating for 4+ people. What a great decision! They work perfectly in our space! Problem solved!
I have never bought a new sofa always the hand me down sofa or bought used... this sofa is so roomy, comfortable, the leather is so soft yet durable feeling and looks absolutely awesome. I have never been so HAPPY with an online purchase... delivery was fast and the sofa could not be easier to put together...
