    Its great looking and sturdy

We bought this for my 9 yr old son. Its great looking and sturdy. The round rungs on the ladder do make it a bit uncomfortable to climb up. The worst thing about this is changing the sheets! Lol: Great overall for the price!

    Nice sturdy metal frame

Nice sturdy metal frame. Easy instructions to follow and read. Parts were al labled nicely and easy to find. I read the reviews and got some tips about the ladder and stuff before i started so those were nice. Make sure you put the ladder on before the rail that goes next to it as they use the same bolt. Otherwise didnt take any tricks just old fashion elbow grease. Took me and my wife about 1.5 hours to put it together while we had our 3 year old helping us. It does wobble a little when our 8 yr old climbs to the top bunk and when she moves around up there but doesnt seem like it will fall. Great value for the price would reccomend.

It was easy enough to put together

Purchased for my 7 year old daughter who shares a room with her 2 year old brother. His crib fits perfectly below this! It was easy enough to put together, just read the directions and follow them as they say and youre good. It took my dad and I about an hour to assemble. We tightened every screw once it was up and it does not squeak at all! OH, and the mint color is gorgeous!

This came as a huge long heavy package, but it was pretty easy to unpack and inventory all the pieces (and Im 4 months pregnant. Instructions very pretty clear and easy to follow, but it does take two people when putting the ends upright together. It was much easier to put the mattress on top before we installed the front side bars, as its a heavy full-size pillow top. When the bed was all put together and I climbed up to the top, it does shake slightly and a couple squeaks but otherwise felt very sturdy. This loft bed was built for my small 10yld, so Im not concerned about the weight limit of 300lbs. I will say the metal ladder rungs hurt my feet pretty bad, and eventually my 10yld said the same thing. Easy fix for that, with putting cut to size pool noodles covered with duct tape on each rung. Now they feel good when climbing to the top.

Im glad I pulled the trigger and purchased this bed

I was hesitant to buy this bed due to some of the negative reviews--after all, my kids safety is my number one concern. However, there was still an abundance of positive reviews that far out number the negative. Im glad I pulled the trigger and purchased this bed, its great quality at a great price. Im not sure why so many people were complaining about poor instructions or the length of time it took to assemble. The instructions were fairly straight forward, I didnt have a single issue--just read the instructions and look at the pictures closely. In regards to the assembly time, it took me 2 1/2 hours to assemble by myself. That might be lengthy to some, but considering the amount of pieces and the fact that I did it myself, I think I made pretty good time. Youre building a bunk bed, you kind of have to have the expectations going into this that it will take some time. The best advice I can give: 1. When you install the upper cross bar labeled Part H, Make sure the small screw holes are facing DOWN! If you do this incorrectly, you will not be able to install the ladder and will have to disassemble everything to that point. 2. If youre using this for a young child and are concerned about them falling off the top, I would recommend not getting a mattress thicker than 8. We purchased the Signature Sleep Contour 8 mattress off and its perfect. It leaves exactly 6 from the top of the mattress to the top of the guardrail. Overall, the bed seems really sturdy. My 6 year old sleeps on the top and my 3 year old on the bottom. I have laid on the bottom without any issues, Im 210 lbs. Not to be rude, but Im fairly confident that most of the negative reviews about this bed are likely caused by human error--simple as that. Take your time and dont rush it!
