I got this bed to put in my guest/office/workout room. I needed to turn my guest room into an office and an exercise room, but I still needed to keep the bed in the room. This is perfect, still able to keep a full size bed in the room, with an office space underneath and have my exercise equipment.
This arrived at post office 3 days ago, yesterday I was able to get it - open it - and install it. I try to write reviews, but it is a challenge.... I LOVE THIS STORAGE BASKET therefore I couldnt wait to SHOUT about it! I was surprised at first, the box was quite heavy, but it is made out of metal. Which I wanted good, durable, quality and THIS IS. I recently had to get a Loft Bed to maximize the use of my small room. THIS BASKET is actually more rugged than the bed, ugh. At first I thought they were missing something, because I couldnt figure out how to hook the shelf onto the bed. Then I referred back to the product photo on the purchase page and I realized the shelf is supposed to hook onto the Basket itself. Saves space, no complex screws or nuts and bolts to assemble. Brilliant, classy design. They offered like 3 or 4 different color choices. I am thrilled to purchase one to match the color of my Loft Bed frame. The shelf is a heavy duty metal with SMOOTH corners connections. Years ago as a Teen I worked in a factory for a summer job and I had to power sand metal burs in order to smooth them out so that people who handled the metal pieces would not cut their bare hands. The work on this is THAT good. I cant rave enough how pleased I am with THIS purchase. I dont know if it would meet other peoples needs, but I wanted something strong and durable to last YEARS. Much better than wood for my needs THANK YOU for making this item. I wish I had more places to use this, because quality craftsmanship is sadly a challenging thing to find in our modern automation world.
Not loving this bed I really wanted
To love it but it took all day to assemble and it feels like its not gonna hold up for long just very flimsy feeling the ladder is very very difficult to get down for kids maybe Ill purchase a different one and see if that makes a difference
This loft was fairly easy although time consuming to put together. When affixed to the wall with wall anchors it is very sturdy and makes no noise when climbing in and out, although the metal slats do make a little bit of noise if you roll around in bed. The only complaint I have about this bed is that the ladder rungs are impossibly uncomfortable to use and require modding (typically with pool noodle foam to be useful, and also there is no cutout at the top to allow easily climbing in and out, making getting in and out a bit more treacherous and uncomfortable than it would otherwise need to be. The first issue can be fixed, the second can be gotten used to, but if both aspects were better, this would be a full five star loft frame.
We have two girls (4 and 6 and they LOVE this bunk bed. It took me about 2 hours to assemble (maybe 3 since they were trying to help. A few confusing areas of which side and which way but if youve done any IKEA building, its probably a bit more user friendly. The only slight issue i have is that the bars for the ladder are very thin. It hurts my feet to use them. As well as the whole bed shakes like cry if I try to crawl up it. But, thats rare... just for making the straightening sheets and such. We dont store anything under there, at this point, but the kids tend to get everything from snacks to clothes, to stuffed animals under there very easily so, there is a decent storage space for short items.
My girls often use it to swing on and flip on (lets be honest... who hasnt!? and other than being concerned for them falling, I have NO FEAR about the bed itself. I feel it is very sturdy for their ages!
Bought this for my grandson. when I visited he was sleeping in the bed. It is easy for him to climb up and get in the bed. Still learning to get out. No way can he roll out. The twin size has enough room for all of his stuffed animals to sleep with him. My son put the bed together by himself. The bed is solid. Lots of room underneath.
Bought this bed to open up more space in my sons room. Youll definitely need two adults to put it together but once its up it pretty sturdy. The only real criticism I have is the ladders to get up. They are thin metal dowels and do not feel good on your feet on the way up. Had I known that, I might have gone a different route but overall its a good loft bed for the money.
Bought this for my 8 yr old. It was easy for one person to assemble, just needed a hand at the end. I did have to take a couple pieces apart because the instructions were a little vague, but nothing major. Weve both been on it with no issues, but its definitely meant for agile kids instead of old adults! Im too old for those stairs. Its a little cold since its metal and not wood, but worth the price!

Sturdy and well built but design is not the best

Decent bed for a young child
Was very easy to put together. Will be perfect for my 8 year old. Dont think it would be sturdy enough for anyone that weighs more than 150 pounds.
a bit wobbly
works but a bit wobbly. the tools sent with product would have taken hours to assemble. over all I give it a 4
Decent for the money
