I bought this bed because I needed one that I could fit an almost-king-sized bed underneath. I was able to put my kids previous twin beds together to create a sudo king for my soon to be 16 yr old who is already over 6 ft tall. The two twins fit perfectly underneath - and I mean PERFECTLY - there was literally not a millimeter to spare and the full on top is perfect for my 12 year old who is also tall and growing. It took me 3 hours to assemble by myself and is super sturdy. I only had a few problems while assembling the bed and they were minor - I only had to loosen some already tightened screws to get the corners of the bed to screw into the posts. I slept in it a couple nights just to test out my assemblage work and loved it. Both my kids were super happy with their Xmas surprise!
We just opened the box and are beginning assembly. All pieces look like they are on really great shape except for one. One of the side bars for holding the bed platform is rusty. I can see rust inside the part and the outside has some rust showing through. Hoping we can wipe it off and it doesnt come back later.
Review will be updated after assembly and we use it!
Easy enough to assemble, it took two of us a few hours. Its very sturdy once assembled. Two of my kids have been sleeping on it together and it holds up perfectly well. It doesnt shake or sway while they climb, Ive even climbed up with no wobbles!
I really like the metal bars that hold up the mattress. They are much better than the wooden slats you usually get with cheaper models.
Personally, I think the price was a little high, but thats probably just because I had my eye on a similar one that cost less and my hubby bought this one instead. Overall though, Im not disappointed. The bed is definitely worth the extra cost!
Not the easiest to assemble and takes quite a few hours. Had issues with some screws not fitting in designed holes. Would be more sturdy if it were heavier. My daughter says the metal step ladder hurts her feet climbing up.
We shall see how this goes.
For the most part this bed was easy to assemble. Some of the pieces did not have sticker labels and one piece had an extra hole. My biggest complaint is the plastic tab locks that support the mattress, they are EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL to snap into place. My fingers are numb and purple, it took an hour to put 44 of them into place. Other than that my teenager is beyond thrilled for her new bed and loves the look and how it has opened up more space in her room.
Very sturdy trundle frame with good construction. Obviously, a great deal of thought went into the design of this product. There are lots of rods to put into place which create a nice surface to put your mattress directly on (no extra support needed; there are little plastic tabs that are insanely tricky to clip into place (to make sure the rods dont move around. Impossible to do with your fingers because the space is so tight - I used a wrench and applied some torque using an old cloth to protect the finish of the frame (tighten wrench over side slat and plastic clip and crank toward the inside of frame...wait until you hear loud click. This technique was a lifesaver! Also, watch for sharp corners; if using with a little one, I would recommend corner guards if your mattress is smaller than the overall size of frame (as in our case.
I sleep in this bed and put some work in in this bed, definitely what you should expect for this price, it wobbles no matter how tightly you bolt. Ive had it for 6 months and havent had any problems. Easily fits and holds two people. One thing to note is one side of the bed you wont be able to bolt in the railing because then your mattress wont fit, but I wanted to do that anyway cuz who needs to be completely guarded in, it makes it easier to climb out.
One of my roommates got a more expensive steel loft bed and hers wobbles as well, If you dont want the wobble, expect to pay $500 or more on a wooden frame.
This bed has allowed me to fit a futon and desk in my small room. I mounted a TV to where people sitting on the futon and on the bed can watch the TV so its really dope. If this fits your budget its not a bad buy, but Id get a futon if youre looking to make some magic happen with something more sturdy.

Okay frame
Mostly okay. Bed does wiggle a lot even with a smaller child on it.
Functionality
Easy to follow directions and install. Highly suggest mounting to wall for stabililty

Very versatile children bed
The holes dont align evenly on some section of the bed... enough clearance space underneath the bed..
Good quality for the price

Helps Me Fit More Stuff In My Room, Great For The Price!
