The unit is everything I hoped for. It was very easy to assemble, but does require two people to hold certain parts together along the way. I loved the sturdiness, look of the unit overall, and functionality. I plan to use it with a laptop and/or a desk surface, and it fulfills those needs very well. Very good unit for the price.

Purchased the black L-shaped desk as I now work from home and needed more workspace. Although it took over 2 weeks to receive it in the mail, and when it arrived it looked like the box had been opened and was kind of beat up, it was definitely worth the wait! There was no damage to the pieces, all the parts were there, and I put it together myself in about an hour and a half while really taking my time. It was fairly easy to put together alone for an average Joe, and it seems very sturdy. I dont know that I would sit on it, but its not going anywhere with normal use. Its a great desk! Im really surprised for half the garbage that comes to my house from , this one really renewed my faith! Its just too bad shipping took so long, although it did arrive within the timeframe given when purchased...
I knew the directions would be awful before I ordered but Ive been putting together furniture for over a decade. Sure enough, the directions were god awful. It took me about 5 hours to put together by myself but I did it. It is a solid desk. Easy to clean, sturdy and big. If you have patience and the time and you need a large desk, this is a good option. The shelf and drawer are a LOVELY bonus. Im glad I bought this. I may change my tune when its time to move it, but for now, I really like it!
Had alot of hand screwing to do because of shelving units. Instructions werent super clear so had to redo some parts because of unclear which side faces back or front. While moving complete table it still felt like if you twisted or dragged it it will break. It looks like noce though just not a heavy duty table
