I cant really compare it to much because I havent really been in an office environment since March but this has made my workday so much better. It may be the most comfortable chair I have ever had. Its also built like a tank. It arrives fully assembled and it weighs a ton. Im 6 and 190 pounds and fit easily in this chair with lots of room to spare. Im very happy with it.
Relatively new still, but so far the chair is comfortable, feels sturdy, and has many adjustments. I also am really enjoying the lean back angle. I cannot speak to the durability yet, but it seems well made so I am very hopeful that it will hold up over time.
Probably should return it but I wont because its far better than what it replaced. I will say it isnt (in my opinion only) worth $1k. Pay particular attention to the optional features described because I certainly thought it came with the adjustable lumbar support. No. It doesnt. And it definitely doesnt fit all sizes of people as many of the online reviews described it. I wish the seat had some additional forward movement. I rate it better than average but far from great. Its a $500 chair that they charge a grand for - oh well.
I am sitting in this Gesture chair right now and thinking If I were a chair, I would ask this chair to marry me. I love this chair. It is comfortable...glides easily...very adjustable...relieves pressure on hip joint (my old chair listed to the side and cause my hip to be in pain all the time). I would buy this chair again: but it is made so well, I probably wont ever have to buy another chair again. THANKS ...and thanks to you, too, Venlencia Seating.
Ive been using this chair for 5 years at work and with WFH during covid I bought one for my home office. Extremely adjustable and very supportive. I was having back and neck pain with my old home chair and its gone with this one. Lumbar support is not adjustable which is fine for me but may be an issue for others.
Great product! Its heavy compared to other cheap office chairs, which is good because it makes the chair more stable to the ground. And my cat loves it as you can tell.
Id been WFH for 3 months and my home office chair was not cutting it. I had never intended to WFH for more than a day or two at a time so I got a chair that was cute, but very basic. It did not have the bells and whistles for adjustment that I was used to in my office chair. After a few weeks of working from home every day, my back and knees started to suffer from my non-ergonomic workspace. I saw a review for the Gesture and the manufacturers video had me sold. TBH, the chair was pricier than I would have liked, but I opened the box just minutes ago and when I sat in my new chair I wanted to cry with relief. Its easy to adjust and provides support in all the right places. Totally worth it. This chair is genius.

height
I would have appreciated a little higher seat setting as I am very tall
Good investment for your posture and comfort.

A worthwhile investment for the home office!
