Came last night about 4 ..started construction about 6 ..all set up by 8 ..quick and easy with free screwing bolts.nice and sturdy perfect for my 4 year old who has been screaming for bunkbeds for months. Just make sure you have a power drill there are lots of screws. All in all ,couldnt be happier!
I just received this bunk bed and i love it! it definitely took two to put together but was pretty easy. The bed isnt too high which is good for my toddler sons. great price, great bed, shipped fast ( just still waiting on the mattresses).
For the price, I wasnt expecting much.. Now that they are all put together I couldnt be happier with my purchase! They are great quality and my kids love their new bunk beds!
Just a note, the screws will need to be tightened with the hex head tool after 30 days. We noticed ours starting to wiggle and most of the screws got a little loose. Just make sure you monitor it.
Was leery of low price point and quality, but this bed has turned out to be a winner. It is solid wood, yet is still light enough to make an easy assembly but not too light that it moves when fully assembled. Installation was a breeze, pre-drilled holes make alignment nice. Although not every piece of wood had a labeled letter to correspond to instructions, but deducing where everything went was still fairly easy. An extra hand is helpful, but was not needed for 95% of the installation. The slats (bunkie boards) are SOLID 5/8 ply, if you can snap these slats something went wrong like ...a 400Lb gorilla jumping up and down on it. They also smooth sanded the top of the slats (facing the mattress), an easy detail to miss but an extra step in providing longevity to your mattress.
The only bear to the installation were the screws for the ladder, very hard to hand turn.
Zero smell on this white bunk (saw other reports of odors).
Bottom line great bunk bed, great price, sturdy, not too high and kids love it!
Really very happy with this bed overall. There were no issues with missing parts and everything ligned up correctly. My recommendation is to have a hex bit on your cordless drill with the torque setting in the middle so as not to strip out the wood. Keep in mind that there are only pilot holes drilled in the pieceset so you are actually creating the hole with the Screws. You will not be able to put this together with just a hand Allen wrench, be forewarned. All pieces are labeled as per the instructions.
Great quality. All real wood. Only four stars for two reasons: The screws will loosen up over time and need retorqued to keep boards from rattling; the wood had a few minor dents and scratches when it arrived. They were probably from transport, and it just needs to be in a heavier box or something. Overall, a great bunk bed.
I just put these together. My husband is working out of town so my only help was my 4 and 2 year old kids. I wanted to get them together as 2 twin beds, not a bunk bed just yet. After reading reviews I was a bit worried about it, I shouldnt have been. I laid everything out first, made sure I had everything, then got started. Everything fit well, no mis-drilled holes, nothing out of whack. The only time I found anything a little off, it was my fault for having the board the wrong direction. There are subtle differences, so if something is off, you most likely just have the wrong piece or its turned the wrong way. As I said, very subtle differences between the top and bottom set at times, pay close attention and youll be fine. It was solid before I started on the slates, and once I screwed every individual slate down, both ends (as per the instructions), Im pretty sure this thing will survive a natural disaster. This is a very sturdily built, and very nice looking, bed set. There is almost a foot of clearance between the bottom of the mattress and the floor (on both beds), plenty of room for storage (if you have less you put it together wrong). I managed to put it together alone (barring some occasional toddler assistance). If I was going to stack them into bunks Id need help (grown-up help for that) They are heavy. It came in 2 boxes, or Id have had to break it down in the yard and haul it in that way, as it was one box (the smaller one) was actually difficult to get up the stairs, heavy and awkward. painted surface is also very nicely done, smooth and polished, very durable, no chipping or scratches, and feels like it would take a little work to damage. This does not look or feel like a cheap set. I couldnt be more thrilled with this set. This set is built to last.
What I was expecting, its what i needed. Only issue was it took quite awhile for them to finally ship it, and then it was a day later than the range they gave me. But overall great price for product.
I was really impressed by this bed, especially for the low price. It was kind of a pain to put together -- not particularly difficult, but it took me and my boyfriend several hours. Between the wood and several metal braces, the beds feel very sturdy, though, and they look great.

Excellent quality, rich color, great value!

You get what you pay for.
Fair for the price. The finishing is not that awesome and the wood is too soft. This is far from being a long lasting bunk bed.
