About the quality I expected for the price. Very lightweight wood, but the beds are great for small children. I cant comment on the bunk bed type of set up as the ones we ordered are being used as 2 twins.
Solid. Study. Easy to install. I appreciate the real wood construction, I feel that it is very study. I bought bunkie boards to go under for extra support. Antique white color goes well with Pottery Barn pieces. I would definitely buy it again.
My husband and I got this bed put together quickly and the kids loved it. Instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were in the package. Unlike others who said they were missing parts, the parts were packaged in such a way I dont see how they could have been missing, so I guess the company quickly made improvements to their packaging. The wood color was exactly as described.
Took about 5 hours to put together. Make sure you have a drill or you will be putting it together hours longer. The smell of the wood takes weeks to go away; smells like chemicals and is very strong. Love the color and the looks good in the room. Larger than I thought it would be. An adult cannot sit up on the first bunk.
You pay for what you get. I was going to originally pay about $900 for a bunk bed from a furniture store, they would have delivered it, put it together, and it would have been all wood and no slats/boards to hold the mattress. But instead I spent less than $300, had to put it together myself and its a bit cheaper with the boards. But I wont have it forever and it is serving its purpose.
Ive had this bed for 9 months now. I love the color and I love the versatility of having it set up as a bunk bed or as 2 twin beds. The only thing I wish was different is that I wish the ladder was removable so when I have smaller children over I wouldnt have to worry about them climbing up. Other than that, it has held up great and we still love it. I definitely recommend.
Wood is very soft and scratches easily. Some of the pieces appear to have come from another set and had slight damage from a previous attempted assembly. When assembled as a bunk bed, the top bunk shakes considerably with the slightest movement. The latter is not as shown in the picture. Not a lot of directions given but enough to get it assembled.

Excellent quality. Solid wood
Excellent quality. Solid wood. No particle board. Quality hardware. Instructions are vague but if youre handy like me, you should have no problems.
