I live in a small space and this platform bed frame with storage is exactly what I needed. It perfect for small spaces, adds additional storage space for everyday needs, as well as, it stays in place (especially for me and my significant other during our night-time socializations). ;) Highly-recommended!
The frame is strong and sturdy and only makes minimal noise when moving. Good storage options too. But the thing was very difficult to assemble. I already have issues with my back and moving these heavy pieces around and spending hours assembling it didnt help. And talking of weight, its extremely heavy.
If you can overcome those 2 challenges, this definitely a great and sturdy platform for your bed.
Took longer to put together than the estimated time in the instructions…maybe 2.5 hours. But everything fit nicely together. The piece is very sturdy. I was surprised by the quality because I knew it was particle board and the price was great. I got more bang for my buck with this!
Bed was pretty easy to put together, got it together myself in about 1.5 hours. Love that I can store unneeded items on the center and the storage cubbies are larger than I expected. I also purchased the matching head board and it is perfect for my small room.
We received this bed as a gift for my daughter. All the reviews I read stated 4 hours to assemble. From start to finish that included removing everything out of the room to making the bed in the end 3 hours. I would recommend the last steps to pre drill a pilot hole when installing the white brackets. If you have a rubber or wood block and mallet to help install the final boards you need on top those where the only issues I found. Bed is awesome and very sturdy.
