The Platform Bed comes in a very heavy box. We had to wait until after a move to assemble it in a bigger master bedroom. It was heavy to move in the box. The assembly was fairly simple. The bed seems pretty sturdy. My husband is a big guy and it creaks some but not any more than our former box springs. The bed looks nice. I like the clean lines and the modern style. I am still getting used to how low it is to the ground after years of having a very high bed. There isnt much room for storage beneath the bed. Easy directions.

Husband was able to put this together very quickly. The included wrench tool thing stripped almost immediately but luckily he had plenty of tools to finish the job. Sturdy piece, came with all the parts, and looks great in our room. Cats like to walk along the headboard and see out the window, so I guess its a win for them too. Slats are close together which is good to support a large heavy mattress like Purple or other foam options plus two humans. Slats stay in place with a velcro strip on either side which is nifty. I like it.
